The US gives a lot of aid to poorer countries every year. In recent years many of these countries have become more arrogant towards the US, undermining its role as a superpower and humiliating it. In the UN and at certain conferences, the status of America has been ignored. Should we halt aid to these countries, even if we have a president that seems to be intentionally screwing things over? America may not be the country it once was, but we shouldn't receive snotty attitudes from countries that we help. If the money doesn't help -one more reason to stop giving it. Not to mention the US debts and deficits...soon we may need aid from others...

Yes. 37 million Americans are living in poverty. Let's get every American shelter, food, clothing, and health care before we give money we don't have to give. National debt is 9 Trillion! Let's work to increase our gold reserves and get the currency of our dollar strong again.
What's going to happen if the global depression kicks in and MAJOR FOREIGN HOLDERS OF TREASURY SECURITIES decide to cash in 2247 Billion dollars?
The U.S. won't need the Federal Reserve (a private corporation to step in and create more money out of thin air) and charge the govt more money w/ interest!
As of 2005 per wiki the U.S. held the highest amount of gold reserves. Wow! Now that's impressive! The U.S. needs to redeem the dollar with gold again.

Absolutely. Use our greatest bargaining chip. Be generous to a fault w our friends, and shut out our enemies. If oil goes up to $100 a barrel, so does a loaf of bread. If a country refuses to let us to base our guys on their soil, no more fresh water plants. At least until they start thinking clearly. And first and foremost, stop picking up the tab for fully 25% of the freaking U.N.! It is a haven, and gives a voice to, our worst enemies. It is counter-productive to the U.S. to keep funding them. Why are they even in N.Y.? The symbolic heart of the nation is playing host to a cancer that wants to kill it.

Hey,
If you have a kid that is acting up, you cut off their allowance!
Maybe not a good analogy, but basically, if they do not respond to money, and it does not influence them, then yes, aid should just be cut off, and for the hungry, let the private sector help them.
The National debt and the deficit, I am sure would be a little better off. We also need to review every system we have, to stop the waste, and often, squandering of our money and resources!

Thats a good point, although I think youre wrong about our president.
But why in the world have we been giving aid to Palestine????? These people are voting for and supporting terrorist organizations as their leaders. These terror groups do things like target Jewish kids at school, and bomb busses and cafes in Israel.
Ridiculous!!!!!

The states should mind their own bloody business. Stop them screwing this world up with their manufactured war on terror. Who the hell do you think they are "the world police". Its all about oil. Folk forget it was the states that supplied saddam and bin ladden with arms.
