Military always put rank and then name....Look at it as replacing a Mr. or Mrs. before a name...

It depends upon what you are doing. If its something going to the individual then the rank precedes the name, but if its for that person's signature then the rank follows the name and the signer's position title is on the second line, ie,
John J. Jones, Major, USAF
Commander

i think of it extremely is excellent to not anticipate whether the two spouse, or any little ones, will or should not be buried beside him. So on the front John Smith a million/2/1900-5/6/2007. Husband of Mary Jones Smith. Husband of Jane Brown Smith. Father of Mariana Smith, Mac Smith, and John Brown Smith. NO FLOWER VASES etc> NO family individuals tree> Ask a protection tension chaplain or qualified funeral director or monument business enterprise workers what the protocol is with the protection tension gravestone. maximum persons do not use the government.project protection tension stone in the event that they are procuring a private gravestone. if so, So on the front John Smith a million/2/1900-5/6/2007. 2d Lieutenant USMC international conflict II. (branch, battles, record as lots of this as you think of he'd choose you to.) Husband of Mary Jones Smith etc.

In the US Military protocol, it is always the Rank,
The name of the person, serial number, if necessary, then the unit and base that which they
are stationed and if they are overseas, then the APO will be added to the address!
