also morn..Due to circumstances beyond our control, the term “September 11th” almost instantly became a household phrase. It represents a day of great tragedy and outrage wherein over 3,000 people were murdered at the hands of Islamic extremists who chose to callously sacrifice innocent human life to further a narrow and selfish political agenda.
But another date, January 22, which is not so well-known, signifies an equally outrageous and solemn occasion. January 22, 2008, marks the 35th anniversary of what is, unquestionably, one of the U.S. Supreme Court’s most highly controversial and divisive rulings in its 200-plus year history — Roe v. Wade.

Which date do you feel signifies the greater loss?

I have got my marriage certificate but the same is in Marathi.
When I requested them that i needed the certificate in English they gave the logic that I had filled up the registration form in Marathi so the certificate will be in Marathi(This is not mentioned anywhere).

How do i get a English marriage certificate.?
I have heard that this causes problems in visa issue(especially work permit visas)
Is this also required for a travel/business visa
Is a translated notarized copy accepted by embassies.
I intend to stay in the middle east (UAE/Qatar)

HILLSBOROUGH, N.H. - Republican John McCain is having quite a moment. He's rising in the polls. He's got major newspaper endorsements in Iowa and New Hampshire. And now he's getting help with this state's legions of independent voters from Joe Lieberman, the contrarian who was Democrat Al Gore's running mate in 2000.

Why or why not? I think he did a fair job of it, And if I had to grade him I'd give him a B. He did decent but it could of been better. I think Bush is a pretty good leader who has respect for every single American out there. He respects us all and we all respect him. God Bless America. : )

for two years now as a busboy at a restaurant. Lately, I have been getting burned out on bussing and I wanted to see whether or not I could get a job in the kitchen for something different. I talked to the executive chef and he said that he doesn't hire people with mustaches. I thought fine, I'll shave it off. I shaved it off and started to look around and noticed that there are quite a few other people working in the kitchen that do have mustaches, including the most recent hire in the kitchen!!! Is this a good discrimination case that I have on my hands? Furthermore, is this the kind of case that on a philosophical level is too frivolous too worry about. Should I just forget about suing and find somewhere else to cook, or have I been wronged enough to pursue this case? what do I need to do to build a strong case so that I can win?

1. The United States provides a less generous welfare system than most Western European nations. What factors account for this difference in welfare generosity? The United States also lags behind many European nations in life expectancy and infant mortality. Should the United States expand its welfare system?
2. In weighing the influence of the governmental structure and of public attitudes, which do you believe is most determinative of current welfare programs in the United States? Can you provide support for your contention?
3. Research candidates’ campaign stances on welfare programs. How are these programs described and how are reforms discussed? What perspectives on social justice are being articulated as part of an effort to win votes?

People come from European countries.
People come across the Mexican border, across the Canadian border and many don't even sneak in they come in legally and stay passed their visa expires

1. Why does Congress now feel trapped by the Social Security program? How could one claim that Social Security was actually the result of client politics in its early years but has become more a majoritarian issue as tax rates have increased? How did the 1983 Social Security legislation attempt to salvage the fiscal integrity of the program?
2. Why couldn’t the recipients of AFDC protect their program? Who determines what is politically legitimate in the United States? What are the implications of that power for government and for policy-makers?
3. Have the 1996 welfare reforms responded to the public criticisms? Have they responded to the problem of poverty within the society?
4. What has been the role of public opinion in the political battles over welfare policies? What do Americans believe about the role of government in social-welfare policies?
