Just in case it was ever absolutely necessary, and my boyfriend NEEDED to drive my car, would I get in trouble for letting him use mine? He got his license revoked for 5 months because of speeding tickets. It wouldn't reflect back on me at all would it?
Serious/Knowledgable answers only, please.

The rest of the world has no desire to teach retro science instead of the real thing.

This question deals with the Cohen v California case in which a man was charged with violating the California Penal Code, which prohibited "maliciously and willfully disturb[ing] the peace or quiet of any neighborhood or person [by] offensive conduct" when he wore a "F*** the Draft" jacket in a court to express his feelings about Vietnam. He claimed that the charge violates his freedom of expression.

my question deals with the dissenting opinion (arguing why Cohen's conviction should be upheld), where Justice Blackmun dissenting, citing 2 reasons. Can someone clarify what the second reason in his dissent means?

Blah blah blah....Bush can't run again. I see it coming already lefties. Just answer the question..I would vote for Satan because at least I would be pretty sure what I would be getting out of him. I think he is probably anti terrorrist as well. If Any ones is going to unleash evil it would be him. And he would be working for us.

I was at work one day last week, during my break me and another girl were chit chatting when another came in back with her purse as I guess her shift was over. Without boring you too much with words, the one girl pulled out a baggie and showed it to us and it appeared to be some sort of illegal drugs. Now, it could have been anything but it looked like drugs to me and the other worker. I didn't think someone would show someone they didn't know their "stuff" Was I wrong for mentioning this to my manager? Some people say I should have not bothering for my safety, some people say I did the right thing. I told my manager that I did not know what it was in the bag, just that she was acting in a manner as such.

Am I in trouble here, did I do the wrong thing. Should I say something else to my manager more about this? Help!!

I will try to keep this as short as I can. I have a really good friend who has helped me out a lot through some tough times. One night there was a party at his house. It was dying down and I was trying to find the 2 people that I gave a ride over there (1 male and 1 female). I found the guy and he said he would be outside smoking. I kept looking for the girl and heard her voice coming from the bathroom. I could tell she was crying so I listned at the door. Basically I could tell that sex was going on in there from the noise and I could hear her say "no, I need to go" a couple times. So I knocked on the door and asked if everyone was ok and she told me she would be right out. She came out and she was crying and latched onto me. I could barely get her to let go so she could get in my car. She said she does not want to say anything because people will say it was her fault since she was drinking so I didnt report it right away, but now my consience is killing me. What should I do?

Obviously polls must be replaced because they are so inaccurate.

Should the "frontrunners" be determined by donation counts? Donation totals?

Should # of unique donors be factored into existing polls? Included alongside existing polls?

What do you think should be done to make the "whos winning" overview more realistic?

.......box, as entertainment for the troops?

I heard where the army's special animal training section (SATS) is training a number of kangaroos to take part in boxing matches in Iraq as entertainment for bored troops.

Now that they don't have Bob Hope to put on shows the intention is for each base to have their own kangaroo to represent them & fight against other bases' boxing kangaroos. The kangaroos wont wear shorts, like boxers do, but will be distinguishable by different colored boxing gloves.

It's a wonder the animal rights groups allow this to take place - or don't they know about it, does anyone know?
