Get an idea of what you would like to do. If you want something that parallels your degree, you need to shop around. Find out where the nearest Officer Recruiter's Office is for each branch of the service. Check them all before deciding. Army, Air Force, Navy, Marines. The Marines DO NOT require an ROTC or Academy background but their OCS and subsequent training is very intense for all officers regardless of job. You can call the local recruiter and they should be able to point you in the right direction. Don't wait until graduation to start looking. If you wish to make the commitment, now is the time to start preparing both physically and mentally. Good luck.

With the schooling you have yes you probably could, but be careful when joining the military. Don't join unless it is everything you think you want and make sure if you have any special requests or anything you want (like for example guaranteed to be stationed in Europe or guaranteed to be going in as an officer, etc...) get it in writing cause if you don't there word means sh**. Trust me I am in the military and I wish I would have clarified a few things before I joined. If you do come in as an officer you'll have a good time and get alot of respect from other military personnel, of course because of your rank. I would definitely go to the closet recruiting office though and double check on that cause there are so many different qualifications you have to have and just alot of bull**** you have to go through but I wish you the best of luck.

Yes you can join as an officer. First you have to have a bachelors degree at least. I would say talk to a recruiter and look into it yourself. I have an AAS and I would've gone in at an E3 or E4 at the start. I didn't go as they said there was a medical reason.
A degree shows that you have knowledge, and can be of good use to the military. I say if you got it, go for it. Good luck. I hope it works out for you.

Minimum requirements:
4 year bachelor's degree GPA of 2.5 or better( although it really ought to be 3.5 or better)
US citizenship
Ability to screen for and get a Clearance

Other requirements include:

Choose a Branch and make sure you speak to the right type of Recruiter( Navy, for instance, uses separate recruiters for Officers and Enlisted)

HOWEVER..just having the above three things is NOT a guarantee that you will be selected for a Commission. while the Army is taking about 98% of qualified applicants, the Navy, CG, AF and Marines are taking a lot less.. as low as 20% in some cases. Other factors include age, extra curricular activities, the degree itself and what other factors you bring to the table like experience and Leadership.

Only two ways, college ROTC, or one of the military academies. When you graduate, you will be commissioned as an office of the basic rate. If you enlist, you will have to go theough regular basic training etc., and then officer's candidate school [OCS].

Talk to a recruiter. Most likely you will have to get acceptance in to OCS (officer candidate school) but complete BCT at the rank of specialist first. Talk to a recruiter and see what they can do for you.

I say number 2 and will SECOND the Marine Corps. Be the best and look good doing it (talking about those dress blues). **NO OFFENSE TO ANY OTHER BRANCH** merely just a personal opinion, I respect all of them equally, mainly because you have the balls to do something I have yet to do.

First you need to learn how the military rank system works, a university education is also needed but if you look online or contact your nearest recruiting agency they will be more than happy to supply details.
