No she didn't even buy her son a tombstone for like 2 years after he died, even though the VA was going to reimburse her.

Also Cindy's ex said she was bat-**** insane, but that could just be because of the divorce.

I am in the military and wouldn't appreciate my dad doing what Cindy did after Casey was KIA.

I think she dishonors her son. He was a adult. He decided to join the military, not his mother. He did what he thought what he needed to do to serve his country proudly, she belittles his service for his country. He gave his life for his country, the ultimate sacrifice his mother should be proud he would do such a thing. If she decides to run for a public office and the death of her son is the springboard for it, that is more of a dishonor. Move on Cindy.

No, but she is extremely dedicated to Code Pink...

It took exactly 783 days before Cindy Sheehan saw fit to have a stone placed on her sons grave.

Though I agree this isn't a military question, I have to say that I don't know what kind of mother she was. I do know what a quack she's become. I'm sure her son is rolling over in his grave at the idea of what she's been doing.

No, she acted like her son was drafted instead of deciding to serve.

No. She shows no respect for her son by not honoring his choice as a man and citizen to fight for his country. He would be embarrassed and ashamed by her actions

Yes, she was a dedicated mother, but she was misguided, possibly sick in some way and manipulated by political agendas.

Dedicated wouldn't be my word. She loved her child, she mourned her child and she wanted to stop other mothers from going through what she had to go through. I think she did what she felt was right and you have to admire that whether you agree with it or not.
