It is being given to them. There is nothing to steal.
EDIT to outspoke: a poll released today said 40% of likely voters would vote for anyone against Hillary. Also, America is not going to vote for an inexperienced, black, liberal, Muslim for president. He would need about 40%+ of American voters. He won't get it. The Dems are in trouble.

Based on the repubs negative ads against hillary and nothing against obama, the repubs do not want hillary to get nominated, and they prefer obama who is more easily beatable.
Al Gore is history, as he lost bad last time due to his mistakes.
Biden is good, but a long shot, and less electable than hillary and obama.

If the Repubs pick Huckabee or Romney, Hillary or Obama will win easily. Obama will beat any of the current Repub candidates though. Hillary on the other hand would have trouble with Giuliani or McCain.

I think your a little off the mark. This is the democrats election to loose. After Bush, most Americans are looking for a democrat. If you take a look at polls you will see that Hillary is tied with most republicans is a hypothetical general election match-up, while obama leads every single one of them. If the dems nominate hillary, she will probably win, if they nominate barack, they will win. there really is no strong republican candidate that can steal liberal votes, but obama has proved to be quite popular among moderate republicans.
jm1970: a liberal conservative??? thats an oxymoron buddy, there is no such thing, they are opposites

If you like biden you know absolutely nothing. He is the prince of the old corrupt guard. he is a strutting jay who will eat our lunch if he is even apppointed to any high post outside of the senate. i always drive around delaware.
From day one, I have prayed that he would never get traction. Thank God he hasn't so far. I would vote for a third term for GW than that two-bit lobbyist lover. No way, Jose.

YES! and if either gave a darn about this country and the party, they'd back out. Gore or Edwards has a better shot!
Obama has a shot...in 10 years..he is simply too young, though he has my vote right now.
People hate Hillary...I'm a liberal and I hate Hillary....she can't win this. I should say I'm conservative in my morals and choices...but liberal in that that everyone else gets to make up their own minds about their lives and yes we need to help people from time to time and we shouldn't go around killing people because we can!
Hopefully people will remember what the republican party has done to this country and vote against the party rather than the individuals.
EDIT: OBAMA IS NOT A MUSLIM...HE IS A CHRISTIAN...HIS FATHER WAS FROM KENYA WHERE THAT NAME IS VERY COMMON AND WAS VERY COMMON BEFORE OUR ISSUES WITH THE MIDDLE EAST.
Grow up and get a clue...be informed..or just continue to vote republican.

It won't be a steal (as if you were referring to the 2000 - Florida presidential vote)... it will be a landslide! There will be no doubts about who wins (and it won't be the democratic party).
