In my opinion, they aren't very useful. People almost never use them and they are getting expenisve to make. Can someone give me any valid reasons why the penny should not be eliminated?

I am suing a corporation because one their repair shops in my area had damaged a component on my car that they had worked on. I need to serve them the papers to appear in court tomorrow. Who do I give the court summons to? The manager at the garage? Or do I have to send it to the corporate office? That's all I need to know is who is authorized to recieve this court summons. I'm suing them for $1,040 for parts and labor to fix what they have broke on the car. Small claims court.

then two days later is appointed as the court appointed attorney for an opposing party in the case? Just FYI the attorney never signed a retainer agreement with the first party while discussing the issues of the case over the phone but she did give legal advise and her opinion on the case.

Republicans fight against anti-monopoly legislation. If corporations keep merging at the current rate, in about a century there will be only one big monopoly left in the whole country. So, the US will become like USSR, where there was only one monopoly - Gosplan. What can possibly stop the process of further monopolization of the US economy?

Me and my mom went to this little concert at a place called rocketown in nashville.
and upon entering they had event employees/vollunteers frisking everyone as they came in as well as DIGGING through every purse. they were taking away pens/pencils, chapstick,nail clippers,medicine, oils etc.
I want to know if these people have the right to do this even without security licences?
If you know anything about this please answer!

for posing naked in hustler or playboy as long as you dont say you are in the military or wear anything resembling the military? I am not saying I have and I definitely would not! but what if a women posed naked and a coworker found the pictures by chance and reported it to her commander...could she get in trouble legally?

My son attend a college that I feel have unjustly mistreated him for something they alleged had happen. A friend owed him $10 he went to the school to get it, the security saw them exchange money and assume it was for drugs so they questioned them, they explained to security why he was giving him the money but the security didn't believe them and called the police who ultimately search my son first (who happens to be black), and found "NO DRUGS" then he had my son sign a consent to search the car and again found "NO DRUGS" however, upon searching his friend ( who happen to be white) they found DRUGS, money, and a scale in this kid car, they made my son sit in his car as they questioned his friend, and they arrested my son along with this kid despite the fact that they found nothing on my son, they charged my son with loitering, & alleged attempt to make a transaction with the intent to distribute, use, etc. and the college suspended him without a court hearing. is that illegal?

I don't understand why people don't like Hillary. Is it because she's a woman and people don't want a woman leading the country or because of her husband which I thought was a great president by the way?

Personally I like her and I see nothing wrong with her being president. I think it is time we see a woman as president anyway and she has been in the senate for a long time so I think she knows what she is doing.

I may get some hate responses for this, but I AM voting for her. :)

I was in the dep program and I try to get out of the army, but my recruiter told me I had to go back to meps and signs my final contract to ship out for basic training. He told me the only way out was to signed my final contract but do not get on the plane. and since I have no units and still attach to meps I wouldn't get into trouble, and I can go back and join anytime I want. I did what he said because he told me that was the only option. Well when I try to go back into the army with a different recruiting office he told me that I was awol. I discover the GI rights hotline and call them for assistents. Now I have to buy my own tickets and head out for Fort Sill to get out-process(I hope). My question is, is there anything I can do to get a entry level separation due to the cause of my Awol. And if anyone can provide me with some guidance.

My daughter and her classmate was walking in the hall after one class let out (3rd period) as they were in the hall one officer approached them and stated,get to class. As my daughter and her friend heard they proceeded to move . In the meanwhile, this officer walks up to my daughter and starts to bumping her. My daughter stated we are moving. After walking off the officer came back toward her and her classmate then stated give me your ID. The Officer than grab my daughter (which he grabbed her breast and scratched her on her chest). and threw her up against the class. all alone never touch the other person. which her classmate stated she was the one doing all the talking to the Officer. So my question is stated above. Which I am pursuing this inccident.
