I'm in between two candidates Paul & Biden, but I know I'm not voting for Senator Obama. I cannot support a man that spoke out against the Patriot Act, only to vote in favor of reauthorizing the Patriot Act, that cannot pledge to have all troops out of Iraq by 2013, supported Bush's sanctions against Iran and co-sponsored a bill designating the Iranian National Guard a terrorists organization, that implied he'd invade Pakistan, that favors amnesty for illegal immigrants, that is for entitlement programs that will increase the deficit leaving the burden on taxpayers and that accepts contributions from influential lobbyists, corporations & special interest groups, while claiming he's the "anti-establishment" candidate.

I need more substance from all the candidates. All I ever hear is what the other candidates are doing, not doing, have done and will not do. I want concrete answers as to why you are the better candidate. Where are the best laid plans for the country? I want specifics not sound bites. Too soon for me to cast my vote for any of them. BTW Obama is a Christian and how many times must he repeat that? Nevertheless, he still does not get my vote, not any of them as of yet.

I'm voting for Ron Paul because
1) He supports the Constitution.
2) He wants to get us out of the mess in Iraq IMMEDIATELY.
3) He wants to return us to a sound currency.
4) He wants to take a pay cut in the President's job.
5) He wants to get rid of the IRS and income tax and keep the government out of our hip pockets.
6) He is against the national id card which would completely do away with all of American's privacy.
7) He wants to get rid of unnecessary, tax supported federal government departments.

I'd say Ron Paul because of his traditional, Republican, fiscal conservative, and libertarian views.
Such as:
-Limited government.
-Strict Constitutionalist .
-Low flat taxes.
-Will save our dollar from the value it is currently losing.
-Fix up the economy by eliminating the unConstitutional IRS.
-Withdraw from the UN and NATO. As our Founding Fathers said, "Entangle alliances with none".
-He is up for free trade, diplomacy, but he's against preemptive wars, undeclared wars, no nation building, so originally, he's a non-interventionist, not isolationist.
-Has never, if not, hardly flip flops on issues such as abortion.
-Abolish the unPatriot ACT.
-Lastly, but not least, the only real conservative standing on the Republican platform.

i don't live in the US and i'm not too knowledgable when it comes to the candidates, but can somebody explain to me why people would vote for Obama. the guy seems so young and inexperienced. the only thing that he has going for him is that he's black. he should try again in 10 years.
