I am a Ron Paul supporter, but I find it hard to believe how many people keep giving him money when he is not even considered a threat to anyone else in the run for Presidency in many media outlets (magazines, tv, etc). I have seen many articles that don't even mention him or his beliefs recently when comparing the Presidential hopefuls. Then I got an email yesterday stating that on one day he was sent $6.04 million. I mean, why isn't he even mentioned in most places when it seems as though a good amount of people are behind him? I am not asking as a supporter, just as a questioner.....more about the media and how they handle things than Ron Paul himself.

Im currently a PFC, im in iraq right now and will be until dec 2008. my ets is not until april 2010. I wont be able for a waiver for e4 until may 08, my 2 year is in nov of 08. So heres my dilemma. Im an 11 Bravo and i am wanting to reenlist, but all i care about is getting ft sam houston as my duty station. i realize there is no infantry there, so my question is, when is my window to reenlist? is it possible for them to pick an mos for me (or give me the choice) and give me ft sam? or can they send an 11 B there and have me tasked out to do something else once i get there? lastly is there a way to get it in my contract to make it a permanent duty station? i could care less about the sign on bonus. Unfortunately i have not had time to talk to the re-up NCO, so any information would be appreciated

They would never have a woman or an African American as the front runner of their party. They're like the modern day Ku Klux Klan (KKK) party. Do you agree?

The UN investigators said photographic evidence - corroborated by testimony of former prisoners - showed detainees shackled, chained and hooded. Prisoners were beaten, stripped and shaved if they resisted, they said.

The report's findings were based on interviews with former detainees, public documents, media reports, lawyers and questions answered by the US government, which detailed the number of prisoners held but did not give their names or the status of charges against them.

Some of the interrogation techniques - particularly the use of dogs, exposure to extreme temperatures, sleep deprivation and prolonged isolation - caused extreme suffering.

"Such treatment amounts to torture, as it inflicts severe pain or suffering on the victims for the purpose of intimidation and/or punishment," the report said.

The UN experts who wrote the report had sought access to Guantánamo Bay since 2002. Three were invited last year, but refused in November after being told they could not interview detainees.

Pentagon spokesman Bryan Whitman said the UN report "clearly suffers from their unwillingness to take us up on our offer to go down to Guantánamo to observe first-hand the operations."

On Fox News this morning Ron Paul was being interviewed. One question was about a new ad from Huckabee. Here's the story on the ad: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,317222,00.html
The question asked Ron Paul if he thought it was appropriate to use religion in politics. Senator Paul's response was to point at Huckabee (and in general at Christians) and said that facism would be wrapped in a cross. So Senator Paul is calling Christians Fascist.

Before you answer, please review definition of Facism:
Fascism is an authoritarian political ideology (generally tied to a mass movement) that considers individual and social interests subordinate to the interests of the state or party. Fascists seek to forge a type of national unity, usually based on (but not limited to) ethnic, cultural, racial, and religious attributes.
Considering the success of the Anti-Christian left, this term doesn't apply.

What do you think?

Let's assume a couple of things. One, no other traffic in the area. Two, your at a T intersection. If two cars in the same lane traveling in the same direction come to a stop sign at the same time. The first car drives past the stop line and then stops before entering the intersection. Car two arrives at the same time and stops at the stop line.....So, they both stop at the same time but car 1 stops past the stop sign and car 2 stops at the stop sign.

Can car 2 go at the same time as car 1 (legally) since car 1 actually ran the stop sign and car 2 stopped at the stop sign.

Did they put up posters saying you are now under the rule of the german reich and must your government will be run from Berlin? or make radio announcement to that effect. Just how were the day to day business of running those countries handled? and by whom? and lastly how did the patriots of those countries react to how their countries were being run while under occupation?
