I am a Ron Paul supporter, but I find it hard to believe how many people keep giving him money when he is not even considered a threat to anyone else in the run for Presidency in many media outlets (magazines, tv, etc). I have seen many articles that don't even mention him or his beliefs recently when comparing the Presidential hopefuls. Then I got an email yesterday stating that on one day he was sent $6.04 million. I mean, why isn't he even mentioned in most places when it seems as though a good amount of people are behind him? I am not asking as a supporter, just as a questioner.....more about the media and how they handle things than Ron Paul himself.

I am talking about when there is, say, an article of who would vote for what, etc. and Ron Paul isn't even on the list of people to respond. I know the media TALKS about him, but for instance in a financial magazine they were discussing policies with a little chart of the hopefuls, and he wasn't even on it!

That is because the mainstream media only want you to get a view of the candidates that want to continue all the things that the internationalists and globalists want. Whether it be a continuation of Bush policies or a democrat in office. They both want the same thing.

For example Bill Clinton pushed for Nafta (North American Free Trade Association) and for membership in the World Trade Organization. Both of which sent manufacturing jobs and service jobs out of the United States (outsourcing) and Bush continued the trend and made it much worse.

For example the majority of the Bush Republicans in the congress and senate voted for and wanted a continuation of the Iraqi war.
The people in last years election voted in a democratic party majority congress but did they do as they promised to stop the war in Iraq. No the Great Democratic House speaker Nancy Pelosi and the vast majority of her party have done nothing to stop the war and have even voted to give Bush more money for the so called "surge" increase in sneding more troops to Iraq.

So you see that generally both parties have the same aim which is to have a new one world order. Bush wants the new North American prosperity and protection Zone which would unite America Canada and Mexico into one union like the European Union model.

Ron Paul on the other hand wants none of that and wants to return to a time when the American government did it;'s duty to uphold constitutional law and so therefore the media wants to ignore him and discredit him all in an attempt to make you think that it is useless to vote for him or support what he stands for. The internet and alternative meida have helped a lot of people find out more about him and the mainstream meida and republican party and the democratic party along with all their lobbyists supporters and the big corporations realize that the american People are starting to wake up and want something different than the same old B.S. form the two party system that we now have.

These are the reasons why people keep giving more and more financial and popular support to ron Paul because they have seen that he has consistently stood by his principles for all the years that he has been in congress and wants to return to the proper system of government which means following the constitution that our founding fathers wrote up.

So perhaps he might not win but it has been discovered that Ron Paul has more and more grass roots support from the working and middle class who have seen their quality of life disintegrate over the years and have seen and realized all the propblems that the politicians of both parties have casued over the past 60 or so years.

The media has become the propaganda arm of the government and is controlled by the political and corporate interests that run this country and is not here to give us a true picture of what is happening to help us the working and middle class people.

Simple. Corporate controlled media. It's part of the reason people are behind Ron Paul.

Americans need to wake up to the fact that without a fair media you cannot have a fair election.

Not only do they not report hard news, they play up things that are not newsworthy at all. It's simple misdirection and many people are finally waking up to the fact.

Dr. Paul did get some media coverage yesterday (and I've noticed he's all over TV today...Glenn Beck is having him on for an hour tonight) but it wasn't the same as the coverage would have been had one of the top tier candidates pulled in the same cash.

I can believe the money people are sending. I've donated myself. Contrary to what many people say on here I am not a nut job. I'm a mother of four planted firmly in the middle class who knows that if things don't change and change radically, my children will suffer the consequences.

What I find interesting is how the national polls about how unhappy Americans are with certain issues don't match up with the political polls. If we elect one of the top tier candidates it will be business as usual in Washington. Is that what we really want? None of them are offering any big solutions to problems that we all know exist and affect our lives daily.

Ron Paul's views might seem radical to some. I guess sticking to the Constitution seemed radical during the last revolution as well.

Wake up America. Examine your life. Ask if you are happy with how things are going not only on the Federal level but state and local as well. We've let big money control who we are. It's time to take a stand and put the power back in the hands of the people. Not corporate media and big money.

You're right, it was a surprising story about his successful fundraising...if he runs as an independent, he has the chance to upset the election.
However, the media's pretty busy covering an election that doesn't have an incumbent! Both the Democrat and Republican must be nominated, and I think the media is skeptical of giving an independent candidate equal time with such superstars as Hillary and Barack and (Heaven help us) Rudy and Fred.
I admire Ron Paul's positions on a lot of these issues, and I do hope he runs as an independent.

My dear of course Ron Paul is a threat and a big one to the people in power and the type at this time. Of course the Media isnt gonna cover it they have to try to keep a lid on it for their lord and masters be it corporations or big government. There is no such thing as free press anymore its all who has the money to hide or cover or say what they want and dont believe anything else for a moment.

because of the fact that this question has extremely been responded, I in simple terms opt to characteristic one project. seem on Youtube for what Mr. Republican, Newt Gingrich says approximately him. He says that Dr. Paul has the superb vote casting record interior the history of Congress. you're an Obama guy. i grew to become into too once I heard the speech he made whilst he introduced he grew to become into working for president. each Ron Paul speech has the enthusiasm that Obama had on that day. that keenness shows me that Dr. Paul loves united states of america of america and could do extra for united states of america of america than the different candidate. Why not attempt a distinctive course? The final 2 presidents have taken the honour faraway from united states of america of america. permit's provide a superb guy a shot at changing our international.

I think everyone will be surprised when the real polls come...They are called elections.
His support is everywhere, not just a couple of internet spammers.

If the polls are so acurate, explain Huckabea's jump. From 5% to 20%. There are about 100 million Republicans. Are we to believe that 15 million people just changed their minds in a matter of a weak? Not likely.

They covered Howard Dean more than Paul. Paul has raised more than Howard could dream of. The media is giving you articles about people that are going to continue most of Bushs policies. Everyone hates Bush so much it seems but Everyone is so quick to support people who are going to continue his most unpopular policies. The News is slanted and distorted. Read 2-4 newspapers everyday. You will see the different ways everything is spun.

But that's the media, isn't it? If they, say, didn't like Ron Paul, they wouldn't tell you that he was a threat because they wouldn't want you to think that he had a chance, so you wouldn't vote for him, and instead vote for someone who looked like he [or she] had more of a chance!

I live in Ohio, in the past two days, the "Cleveland Plain Dealer" has not mentioned anything about him, and nothing about him raising money. They're too busy talking about Romney being Morman, and Barrack being black. National newspapers don't print anything about him, they only talk about him in their on-line websites.

I can't believe all the money that is being WASTED! After his last $5 million donation time his numbers didn't increase much. Do you honestly think this new pile of cash will make a difference?

The media IS talking about Paul. Paul's problem is the fact that people are hearing his message and not agreeing with him. Paul's low numbers are not the media's fault.
