You are truly showing your ignorance on this one.
Wasn't it the Republicans who were begging Colin Powell to run for President on their ticket back in 1996? Wasn't it Abraham Lincoln, a Republican, the one who signed the Emancipation Proclomation? Isn't it Senator Robert Byrd, D-WV, who was an Exhaulted Cyclops in the Ku Klux Klan? Wasn't it George Wallace, a Democrat, who stood in the doorway of Central High School in Alabama so that the black kids couldn't go to school there? Wasn't it a Republican President who nominated the first black Secretary of State in Colin Powell? Then the first black woman to be Secretary of State in Condi Rice? Wasn't it a Republican who nominated the first Latino Attorney General in Alberto Gonzales?
I could go on and on. The truth of the matter is that the Democrats have crippled the black community in this country by making them think they are dependant on welfare. They have solidified that voting block and they continue to further supress the inner city black communities by providing subpar education.

Because when people vote, it doesn't say 1 bigot, or 1 racist or Bill O'Reilly; it just counts as 1 vote. Right now it's the Mexicans, because thet're here. I still say if they went to the rich neighborhoods, and made all the rich pay union wages to the Mexicans working there, the whole imaginary problem would go away by tomorrow. Besides it misdirects peoples attention from the real problems.

I am a white female and my husband is African American and we are Republicans,it is very insulting to compare Republicans with KKK.There are a lot of African American Republicans Most African Americans are very religious and traditional and I know my pastor is Republican and 6 other families in our church.

I wouldn't go so far as to call them the KKK, but they are just slow thinkers. Slow to accept change and unable to think outside the box, or consider the successes of other countries as an idea that might work here. They also, obviously, don't care about any generation except the Baby Boomers. Big business, war, and imposing morals onto others is what they care about.

Actually, it is the Democrats who still use the black community as slaves (albeit voting slaves over labor slaves, but slaves nonetheless).
You have to realize that Hillary and Barack are gag campaigns. Neither one has a shot, but the Democrats are running them anyway just so that they can say "Hey, look at how nice we are to these people we don't care about (women and minorities)".
At least the Republicans don't lie to those they don't care about.

Why do you make so many blanket generalizations when you have no proof of their validity? I am not racist. We begged and begged for Colin Powell to run, but he didn't want the job. He would have won, too. And it wouldn't have been Dems voting for him.

Republicans are traditional. I suggest you rethink your accusation that all Republicans are racist, as it is not true, unfair and pretty offensive.
mt_pelions is spot on, choosing Hillary & Obama is a publicity stunt for the Dems.
