When everyone knows that the solutions in Iraq are political?

The Sunnis have left the Iraqi government and the remnants of the attempted Iraqi government have gone on vacation for the month of August while our troops die for them. If this is progress, this war will never end.

Come on now, its history making time! And think how fun it will be to sell next year. Real companies please. Wal-Mart has told me to my face that this book would "never happen". They never spoke that way to me before and we fought everyday for 20 years proceeding this. With the MOST SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS in EVERY TOWN up and down EVERY HIGHWAY throughout this vast country it was my view we should do some good for the people who supported our success, they didn't. That fight began 20 years ago this year while attempting to make a presentation to the WMT Board of Directors entitled "American Showcase". That presentation was interrupted midway through by the only female in the room. She displayed a side of human nature I had not seen before at 20 years old, or since, to that degree. Utterly rejecting community based economics for a quick obvious run into hell she scolded me for the audacity to ask her to LOSE MONEY by paying a living wage or buying American made. Her name? Kate and Gerry McCann were intereviewed by the police for 25 minutes yesterday morning. In the afternoon 5 friends of Kate and Gerry were also interviewed again for 20 minutes each.

These friends were with the McCanns on the fateful night and are still in Portugal! Each of these friends said they took it in turn to visit the children, quote: "Every 10 minutes!" unquote. But the McCans said they went every 30 minutes.

The friends are Jane Tanner, Russell O'Brien, David and Fiona Payne and one other person who has not been named.

The McCanns claim that the appartment was visable from the restaurant and only 100 yards away.

The appartment building was visable but the actual appartment was not as it was on the road side of the holiday complex.

The fact that the appartment building was only 100 yards from the resuarant is true, but only as a bird flys. walking, it is nearly a quarter of a mile away from the restaurant.

Something is really beginning to stink in this stor

As an Englishman who is currently in the USA on business i feel i must ask this.
When i was recently getting drunk in a New york pub, i noticed an American attempting to drink two pints of lager one after another.Obviously the outcome was rather ugly, but it got me thinking "What is the record amount of lager an American has drunk?"
You can give your answers in 1/4 pints measures.

Since our imperial congress lost their Amnesty bill, they've broken it up and have been hiding little pieces of it in other bills. Now the Hope Fund Act of 2007, (H.R. 1999) actually gives MILLIONS of your hard-earned tax dollars to a radical pro-amnesty organization called the National Council of La Raza .

Here's what the bill says: "There is authorized to be appropriated for grants [to La Raza] under this section--(1) $ 5,000,000 for fiscal year 2008; and (2) $10,000,000 for each fiscal year thereafter."

Outraged yet again?

because if it is, then theres little except for foreign intervention that can rid India of this menace.

If we think of nations such as the United States and the United Kingdom, the true reason that they have become so prosperous over the last century is only because of the benevolence of its people and their willingness to make sacrifices. But in a country like India, where almost everyone has a self-centered agenda how can their be long-term prosperity?

San Diego Firefighters File Complaint for Being Forced to Attend Gay Pride Parade
Four firefighters are pressing sexual harassment claims against the city's fire department after they were taunted while driving a fire engine in a gay pride parade last month, an attorney said Monday.
The men claim their battalion chief ordered them to ride in the July 21 parade through San Diego's Hillcrest neighborhood, according to their attorney, Stephen Stirling. The firefighters followed the order out of concern they would otherwise be suspended or punished.

Whatever the federal government supports, Ron Paul is against. He wants to eliminate abortion, income tax, the IRS, end the Iraq war, legalize pot, and on and on.
People who show up at his rallies include hardcore anti-abortionists and pot smoking hippies. If elected president, he would reverse 200 year of political evolution in America. Is this what most Americans want to see, the slate wiped clean and start over? Has Ron Paul just touched on ever pet peeve that exist in this country?
As I can recall, he is the first candidate running for the presidency who promises to take the country backwards not forward. Why is this strategy gaining support?

Ok to validate this point I live in Germany and have so for 8 months and prior to that I lived in South Korea.
I’ve spent a lot of the last 3 years traveling around the world it is rare to meet someone who genuinely doesn’t like Americans. On the rare occasions I do meet a Anti-American people they have opinions based largely in assumptions given to them from teachers or the media which I protest is the same sources that give Americans much of out Bias. In fact before logging onto this forum out of pure boredom I never really say so much Anti American sentiment and disturb me if you look at the world before WW1 you will see the topic of Nationalism popping up this ant foreign sentiment is dangerous and should be stopped. Weather you like the US or not don’t take away our accomplishments because they do not allow yourself to come out on top we are a strong country…the concept of Superpower is kind of dated with globalization and the EU and such.

All this running around shooting at each other, destroying cities etc... We've been at it for hundreds of thousands of years. You would think given our intelligence this would have gone out of fashion by now. In wars people die no one wins. Even as the Islam has taught America no matter what you do either your troops or your citizens will be killed, your gear and buildings will be destroyed too. No one goes without cost (See 9/11). So I say for the only race on the Earth that has come so far, our sciences and intentions are very backward. We managed to go from village hard nut leader polilcy to king to democratic leader in politics but kept the war thing going. Something is seriously wrong here dont you think?
