Sharad Pawar has branded himself as a rank opportunist after his very humiliating remarks about our immediate past president Dr APJ ABDUL KALAM that his game is over. He has aligned and denigrated himself to the level of Laloo Yadav who is foul mouthed and vulgar. That is all. With that unfortunate remark from Mr Pawar he has distanced himself from all the intelligentsia of the country.
He obviously wanted to please Sonia Gandhi. He should know that she never relents with the people opposing her self and her family members. Pranab Mukherji paid and is paying the price for offering himself as PM after Indira Gandhi's death , while the Prince Charming was available and in waiting. In taking vengeance she far outweighs her mother - in -law, Mrs Indira Gandhi
He should never ever be considered for any position of respect and dignity. He has reached his level of mediocrity. Now that is the end of the road, no matter how very seriously he would like to nurture the Maratha / Maharastrian lobby.

Sharad Pawar has never registered as a hugely bright, reasonable, charismatic sort of person. In fact, he seems very ordinary and has a way of changing his mind at the drop of a hat. The present PM of India is by far the best around and I am glad he is our PM. PS I do not support the Congress but I do have a lot of time for Mr ManMohan Singh.

Answer to this question can be given only when election to the next Lok Sabha is nearing. Maharashtra is only one of the States in India and there are such leaders in other States belonging to various political parties. So, I do not hold your view.
