once i got arrested for traffic tickets that i hadnt paid on time. prior to being handcuffed, i was searched and asked if i had any contraband on me. i refused to answer. when we arrived at the jail, they found weed in my sock. instead of giving me a simple possession charge, it was enhanced to a felony for "carrying narcotics into a correctional facility"....this scene plays out 100 times everyday in america....this is a violation of my 5th amendment right, not to incriminate myself. police know this, yet they still play this game. i bear NO legal burden to snitch on myself. .... {{maybe not ALL police do this, but i believe the vast majority do}}
in my case, it only cost me more $. what happens to the poor, indigent ppl that cant afford decent legal representation? theyre given very lengthy jail or probation or jail sentences.
and then yall have the nerve to say "im one of the good guys"

I knew a girl on the web from Nigeria. She wants to buy a camera. Then she asked her agent(??) to buy it from Kodak online store and sent it to me first then sent it her. Then I recieved it then tried to send it by Fedex. But they said they don't want to send anything to Lagos, Nigeria because so much scam. So I returned to Kodak by USPS. (I still had the Deilvery Confimation number) I checked online USPS did deliver to the Kodak in New York. But I called Kodak they didn't get anything. Now her agent said if I didn't give him back this camera, he is going to report to FBI that I am scammer or theif. What can I do now???!!!!!

my ex boyfriend has visitation but I told him I dont want his girlfriend to come with him (for good reason) so now he says he wont come because he wont go without the girlfriend but the girlfriend is telling me that she is going to bring me to court for contempt of court because of him not coming for visits she is saying I am not letting him...is there any way I can prove that I am allowing him to come but he is choosing not to??? like proof in case I go to court to show that I wasnt stopping him???

I carry for my job and at a recent range the instructor informed us to download our mags occasionally due to wearing out the spring. I know I've heard that's an urban legend so I told him that and he didn't like it!! Anyway...this question has been answered before but no one cited any references. Okay, I've never experienced anything like this before now but it is very frightening and I don't know what to do or how to handle this situation at all and I need some advice. At my job (bookstore) there is this strange older/middle-aged patron who comes in at least twice a week, sometimes more. This man is CONSTANTLY staring at me, making me very uncomfortable and despite my efforts to ignore this behavior it has continued. The last time he came I was ALONE down an aisle cleaning up and he was looking at a book. Then he turned, looked directly at me smiled and just started...touching himself. I know...its disgusting Im so humiliated. And I don't know that anything can be done of it really because he has never actually spoken to me or approached me up close but I feel violated and scared to death. But what would you do if you were in my situation?

I say I want to leave Iraq and go after Osama... and I constantly get called "unpatriotic" on here?

you guys are the ones that all but REFUSE to go after Osama... the man Republicans CLEARLY pinned the 9-11 attacks on themselves...

yet they run to Iraq that had very few 9-11 links and then question my patriotism?

how about a little explaination Repubs? I find it borderline sickening when you continue to make excuses for not going after Osama...

Which one has the biggest dollar signs in their eyes when it comes to running for president? I think it's a toss up between Rudy Giuiliani and Hillary Clinton.
I would put Dennis Kucinich, Mike Gravel and Ron Paul as the least greedy. They know they don't have a chance at winning. They must be running for other reasons. I think Barack Obama wants to change the government and go down in history as a truly great president and to do his heritage proud.
Thats my sense of the race. What's yours?

I plan on obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in (Criminal Justice - Law Enforcement-). Which Law Enforcement Job in particular, on an average scale will pay me the most starting off and over several years. Example, ATF, Highway Patrol.State Police. blah blah.

And please don't tell me F.B.I because..... I know they get paid alot, but not everyone is as easily qualified to be a fed.

lose its pride? i remember a time not to long ago when we walked tall, there wasnt a whole lot of drug useage and baseball was the big sport, a sport of skill and patence. then the 60s come and the hippies start protesting a war that we where winning LSD is made and weed is smoked widely. the 70s come and its more of the same only now we become more violent. the 80s come and LSD fades but coke and heroin rise and ruin an entire generation, violence grows with the hard core drugs. the 90s come and we start getting invaded with illegals these are the same problems since then we have been attacked several times. people dont even speak english anymore. just tell me where we went wrong? now no one is patriotic and only a few care about there fellow man.

Since when do you need to be black to be president? They even asked him this question in the You Tube debate. "Are you black enough to be president?" That's kind of a strange question, don't you think? If anything, they should be asking this to the other candidates. If Obama isn't black enough, some of these other people don't even come close.

I was picking up my nephew @ summer school, I pulled into the red zone, but came to the stop in the correct area, & 2 days later I get a traffic ticket in the mail. The picture provided to me is my car, but at a angle pulling into the curb, not stopped. Is it illegal just to pull into or to stop ? "help"
I tried contesting it & the denied it. Next step is court & I dont want to waste my time. But then again it is a $225 fine.

As for the rest of your questions, they consist of little more than @ss-kissing hero-worshipping rhetoric so I simply will not bother.

I teach my children that Policemen and Women protect them from harm, that they should not be afraid of Police Officers, but to understand that like me when I was in uniform, I was doing my part to protect them and our way of life.

What you call "hero-worshipping", I call "Respect". I want my children to be like me, to respect the law, but more importantly, to respect and know the courage of the men and women whom are "Peace Officers".
