The LIBERAL media wants HILLARY to win! They INVENT attacks to destroy the candidates that they don't like. Barrack is NOT their man; so, they have to come up with something! If I were Barrack, I'd say, "I'm sure as hell blacker than any other candidate running! If I'm not black enough then tell me who is!"

Statistically speaking the need to be black to be president is 0.00% As the US has not had a black president. By the way, same stats for the VP job. So the question is silly.
I think some people think that if all Black people don't support Barrack, then he has some problem. Seems like selling black voters short. Some may support other candidates for good reasons.

It's the drama. An insignificant question that deserves nothing more than "back at-cha" to Hillary. It's called get black-folks to think like this, and then you get their votes.
Black folks have enough drama to deal with in everyday acceptances. This is a good thing that a black man is running for president, and all blacks in the United States will be empowered as a result and are empowered as we speak.
His role-model inspires all white and black children, mixed races or not.
Go for it 'Blacks of the United States' as most all of us welcome your views of the country, always have.
Obama is a class-act, and this is what creates the fear in most racist individuals that attack him. It is sad to say this, and I am encouraged by it's challenge.
Wake-up immigrants, blacks are part of the building of this nation, and like no other who has come here before, read our history. Our culture of 'European French, European British and African decents' is the deeply embedded truth of how this country started.
These are the true citizens of this nation, and have shed much sweat, tears and blood, that earns us the right to prevail no matter what we encounter.
Obama does not have to be black enough - he bears the heritage of this nation from it's inception. It is about time. He honors us all.
If those who oppose these words, must, so be it. You are no doubt from a foreign land other than what I specify in this answer. Guess what? Probably a number of you are from south of the border, no problem. You are sensitive, eh? I am cool with that. You will never be a president here, and that is even cooler.

I think that obama is the intellectual, and the candidate the most credible, he is concise, and clear and very much to the heart, realistic in his responses.
Obama is inspiring and answers questions that are clearly on the mind ofthe American people.
What does his ethnic origin have to do with running for the presidency. Further more I would like to see obama and hillary both on the final ticket.

I'm not black, but I hear that phrase all the time. I'm afraid it has come to mean that if you have the nerve to speak without an inner city accent, or don't use common black slang, or have the audacity to succeed (acting white) and not give what you earn to those unwilling to do what it takes to succeed, you're leaving your "people" behind and not "acting" black enough.
add to that the fact that his mother is white and may blacks aren't interested. They view him much like Secretary of State Condalesa Rice (she's not black at all according to the same people) and General / Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff / Secretary of State Colin Powell, and HE grew up in Harlem.

I'm black and I really don't care if Obama was black, white, or green. Color doesn't matter to me. Just because he black why should blacks vote for him. So would whites vote for someone because they are white even if he is saying 16 year olds should go to war. I'm not voting for Obama because he is inexperienced. He is not ready. Basically you might as well say the blacks are looking out for him. You actually think some of the whites are actually going to let him in office. Times have changed but not that much.

People listen to stereotypes more often than they listen to what's coming out of their mouths.
But I agree. It's a stupid and ignorant remark made by these people and you make a very good point.
And I guess I can tell you that people are saying this because they are stereotyping the typical black man (i.e., hip hop style, etc.) and Obama doesnt meet that.

interesting---i thought the country would have an issue with a black man in the highest position of power. it seems to me as if the media and government are utilizing reverse psychology to turn baracks own people, us, against him because he doesnt meet the worlds stereotypical (negative perception) black person
you know because he has no prior, drug usage, guns, bad grades, hes no full breed, didnt grow up n the ghetto, wife has no weave, doesnt come to debates with 50 cent jogging in frot of him singing "go barrack its ur election"
that BS it what sets us back years its equal too don imus

Because he's educated, speaks proper English, and doesn't blame the White Devil for everything. I'm not voting for him, but all the "He's not Black enough" hooey seems to be coming from the demagogues of Jesse Jackson's ilk.

I dunno!! I mean honestly it doesn't make sense!! When exactly are you considered black I mean most african americans aren't fully african!! They are usually have some other culture in the race!! I mean it really doesn't make sense!! Maybe the reason they asked him that is because they don't believe that an african american's mind or stereotype would run for president so if therefore he strips him of being black they achieve the fact of not having a African American president!!
