Brings new meaning to the word 'politics' to describe the process so well: 'Poli' in Latin meaning 'many' and 'tics' meaning 'bloodsucking creatures"

Even if you have insurance, your copay is very often higher than the full cost of the same meds (made by same the company) in Canada.

The cost for a some generic drugs can be slightly lower in the U.S., but on balance, Americans pay much more.

"For example, a common dosage of Celebrex, an arthritis relief medicine, costs $85.99 in the United States and $44.76 in Canada. A particularly striking comparison involves the breast cancer drug Tamoxifen, a common dosage of which sells for $340.77 in America and $39.19 in Canada."

http://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/462504

“Perhaps most galling,” Greider writes, “is our neighbors in Canada pay about 62 percent of what we do for the same medicines.” Sixty tablets of the cholesterol drug Zocor cost $43.97 in Canada and $109.43 just across the border in Vermont. The arthritis drug Relafen® runs $60 for 100 pills in Canada and $120.27 in Vermont.

My Grandfather has been deceased for about 8 years and we get postal mail 2-3 times a week for him, plus he has never lived in this state...

This might be a dumb question but is there any way to stop the mail or at least lessen it? Maybe a list to put his name on or a business/service that can help?

TIA

If a foreign student can't afford his in-state tuition for the semester, I believe he is supposed to leave the country. How likely is this student to get a new F1 visa if the old one expired and there is 1 year left to finish school?

Also, it's legal to stay for the duration of the studies even if your F1 visa is expired, right? e.g. if a student came in with a 2-year visa for a community college and then finished that and the very next semester transferred to a 4-year school to pursue a BA under the same visa.

Is there a limit on how many years a student can stay in the US on an F1 visa? e.g. can one come in on a 2-year community college visa, then go on to a 4-year school, and then to say law school?

House title Corporation laws?
Could I remove myself from the title of my house and put the title under my corporations name, so just in-case I get behind on my bills because at least in bad times, at least no one could slap a lin on my property and my corporation doesn't have any types of credit accounts or debt, so I really wouldn't ever have to worry about someone coming after my corporation.

One more thing. Its in Washington State and the corporation is my home address. My address is the licensed place of business.

I was wondering if there is a way that I can fill in my basic information, like Name, Birthdate, Birthplace, etc. scince I´m out of the U.S. and cannot request the paper(s). If there is, please post a link, thanks. Also, I get back to California Aug 30th, and I was wondering, if there is a way to request in San Diego for an ID to be made for me by the city. I´m 15 years of age. Thanks you guys, bye!

God's Blessing In Marriage?
Marriage License?
Whats you opinion? Here a copy of the letter I sent to my Paster:

Dear Pastor,
If two people are married by you or someone else.
Would they be married in the eyes of God if it was
only the ceremony without a marriage license? Let me
explain a huge problem affecting a million
Americans. We were not aware of this when our
relationship started now we are engaged for a year and
in love with a huge problem. We are in our fifties she
is a widow and I'm divorced. She has military widows
benefits which include a pension and free health
care. She just turned 51 and I'm 55 we could be married
in four years and she would retain her pension if shemarries after 55.But when we know that she will needher health benefits sometime they will bediscontinued. These represent a couple hundred thousand
dollars or more over time that we can't afford to
loose. We don't like living like this! Is it possible
to have God's blessing without a marriage licensee? We enjoy your teaching each Sunday

My husband got a (measly) sign on bonus when he joind the Army Reserves. Well one year later he switched over to active duty but did not get another bonus since he received on the previous year from joining the reserves. Well now the Army is making him pay back the bonus!!! They are withdrawing it from his checks. This is a year into active duty, he has 2 more years of active duty left, is going to Iraq in 11 months as a petroleum supply specialist. Why isn't he getting a bonus? He signed on as an active duty soldier in a time of war!!! Help us please, he is my husband. Thanks you

Bill Clinton was pilloried for his affair with Monica and impeached for lying about it. Many people in European countries had the attitude of "so what?" when discussing his affair. I tend to agree; I feel that as long as consenting adults are involved, it's nobody's business but that of the people involved. I do draw the line on hypocrites who talk about "family values" who then go on to have extramarital affairs or politicians who are anti-gay and who then turn out to be closeted homosexuals. But, as far as I'm concerned, I don't care if the President does it with sheep as long as he's competent at the job. Agree or disagree?

Scenario number 2. I worked for a company for 3 weeks. When I was hired, the employer asked me if I had and physical problems. I said yes, I have arthritis in knees. He hired me anyway. He also offered more in the way of money than anyone else. I was working with 20 year olds (I'm 49). One of the employees saw my check , I didn't show him it and he was quite outraged that I was making more than them with less time. I had trouble keeping up with the 20 yr olds running here and there. So they let me go, due to me being slow because of my limitations with my arthritis in my knees. Do I Have any type orights in this matter? I live in NJ. Any help would be appreciated...thanks

I've heard that if you extend your one year tour to a 2 year tour, that you might be able to move your family out there with you. Is this true? Please only answer if you have knowledge of things like this. Thanks! He is in the Army, and is in AIT right now, so he's only an E-2 (will be E-3 when he goes to Korea). I've heard that if you don't have a high rank, the odds are unlikely?

I have this girl calling me saying i "need to watch my back", and i changed my number yesterday. She somehow got my new number and had someone else call me and she blocked the call. Shes leaving me messages on myspace calling me a whore and everything else. Is this enough for a restraining order? I had my car broke into a few weeks ago and think it might have been her also. I have a young daughter, and as a parent i fear for our safety. She hangs out with the wrong crowds.
