on monday,i received a voicemail stating i was being sued.i called the number back and the "lawyer" i spoke to said providian was suing me for "x" amount.then the "lawyer" changed the amount to"y" $. finally, i agreed on "z"$ to keep it out of court. i paid $100 over the phone monday during the conversation. the rest was to be paid on the 31st. after doing some research and talking to several people, i found out this whole thing is a fraud. i have already reported them to the ftc and the attorney general. i am going to talk to the bank today about getting the 100$ back,if not,at least stop them from getting the rest on the 31st.(i sent a postdated check). yes,i did have a credit card with providian,but it has been taken off my credit report.(statue of limitations) can they still sue? on what grounds? should i sue for harrassment? there has been no proof for what i owe.(bill,statements,etc.). the last time i paid was april 2001,which was the last time they sent a bill.

has it got to the stage where we only want to be encouaging incomers who share our values and want to be no different to us, after a generation or two?

do you think this language clause should be required from all applicants, or only from those who come from communities that have already demonstrated problems in their level of commitment to integrate..ie muslims......on the grounds that we know all the others...whoever they are---african chinese inuit polish brazillian etc etc etc will be no different to us and speaking perfect english after a generation of uk schooling, but that muslims will still want to continue keeping themselves separate, not speaking english unless it suits them and wanting to bring in more of their own "segregation minded" people from poor backward areas of the world.

im talking here about economic migrants

On the pay tables it has an entry for under two years of service for up to E-7 and also an entry for up to O-8. My question is, if its on the pay tables it is possible to attain the rank in that time correct? In what case would it be possible to get such high rank so quickly?

I make no bones about feeling passionate about this ppl, and make no apologies for doing everything I can to promote this until the Govt instigates new legislature to even up the system for military and civilian civilians "working for the same employer" aka the MoD.

To stand a chance, we have to aim for a million signatures.. tall order for a petition that isn't even mine..(only because this guy beat me to the post by submitting it..)..

when I was in the US, I have only seen uneducated people. most of them.
