I think Ronald Reagan was very good, but I'm open to challenges.

can turn anything and everything into a partisan issue despite any facts to the contrary and that liberals cant seem to... well do anything at all?

If the neocons are evil and the democrats completely ineffectual what is left for those of us that walk the middle?

I am looking for an old friend. He was stationed in Germany when we last spoke. When I called a base locator, I was able to find out that his last updated contact information is in Ft Meade, MD, 2005. How can I go about getting in contact with him. The base locator at Ft Meade said the system was down and she would only be able to find him by his SSN. Of course, I do not have that. I need help from someone that is actually in the army, lives on base, knows someone that lives on base, knows someone in the army, etc.

I need an advice..
I know someone that took copyrighted material such as photos and some text from another company *his competitor* and duplicated on his site. Would you contact the competitor and report this?

Just wondering if anyone out there would like to share a horror story with me. I'm currently pulling a 24 hr. shift with the world's most obnoxious staff sergeant. He keeps leaning over my shoulder and asking me what I'm doing (he just left for a couple of secs). Anytime I play a game online or on my laptop he gets all excited like, 'ooh, ooh! whatcha doin?!' The worst part is he doesn't even have to be here right now. His 1SG told him that he only has to be here for security checks (that only needs to be done once a night). He's only hanging out because he wants a comp day tomorrow. While watching tv tonight he made a comment about every single thing happening. My lack of eye contact and rude facial gestures don't deter him at all. I know he's not hitting on me or anything. (He's happily married, which he brought up immediately after asking me, "weren't you married before?", "why didn't it work out?"). The only thing to get me through will be witty humor. HELP!!!

Too many lawyers running around screwing up everything. Should congress cap the population and shoot for 10% reduction each year?

". . . is not being afraid enough."?

Oh, wait. That's not right, is it?

Here it is: "The only thing we have to fear, is fear itself."

Whew! Churchill was kind of goofy, wasn't he? They'd toss his loony @ss into Gitmo for talking like that, these days.

From this list, chose one issue you find most important when it comes to what needs to be immediately addressed and accomplished by our next President:

1. Get out of Iraq
2. National Healthcare
3. The cost of NASA vs the value of NASA
4. The national infrastructure
5. Reversal of NAFTA
6. More money for schools, teachers, equipment, etc
7. Imigration concerns

Please make a choice from this group alone and please explain your reasoning.

Honest answers, please. You can say whether you think the changes were positive or negative, but you have to say why or why not you think the changes were or were not surprising.

Here goes the story. I was heading to work. The road conditions were normal, it was a sunny day around 5 PM (Rush Hour).
We were headed southbound on a 3 lane highway.
Traffic was moving about 35 - 40 miles per hour.
Next thing I know the guy in front of me slams on the brakes, but his brake lights do not come on.
So I slam on my brakes but unfortunately it was to late and I slammed into the back of him.
There was 5 cars involved in the crash including me all in a straight line.
When the cops arrive, I notify them that his brake lights come on, he ignores it for the time being. So I tell some of the other drivers and a couple of them go to check the lights and they see they are not working. So again I go and tell the cops this but they completely ignore the fact.
They cite me with the ticket and even let the guy with no brake lights drive away.

Is there a way I can fight this to prove that I was not at fault??

The accident happened in Maryland

After WW2 and a damn near WW3 the world has got the idea that death no matter how noble is always tragic. That the world is now really tired of wars and interfering with others and now its time to focus on our own agendas and build our own nations. For does not every nation have enough of its own problems with crime, disease, disasters etc...? Shouldnt the US military secure its southern border and spend time crushing drug barrons (who kill way more than a few terrorist bombs on US soil every week than the Taliban have ever done)? Dont you agree the world has gone past the stage of chasing dominion and interfering. The world now wants to secure its own prosperity and grace by looking in the mirror and facing the facts, "we have to agree to disagree", and while your side is far from perfect mine is not perfect either (try to hear an American say that about the US!). Dont you think so? Technologically and economically way ahead but socially and philosophically way behind!

BLACKSBURG, Va., August 2, 2007 -- On September 6, Virginia's own Dave Matthews Band along with John Mayer, Phil Vassar, and Nas will join together in "A Concert For Virginia Tech" at the university's Lane Stadium. Free tickets will be made available to all current students, faculty, and staff. Coming at the beginning of the 2007-2008 academic year, the concert was conceived as a way to help the university community move forward in the aftermath of the April tragedy at Virginia Tech.

Nas is hip hop’s foremost lyricist and thinker

http://www.vtnews.vt.edu/story.php?relyear=2007&itemno=421

OpinionJournal offers a sample of his lyrics.
http://www.sing365.com/music/lyric.nsf/Shoot-%27Em-Up-lyrics-Nas/6A160F395E62FB8F482568B9002E6F71

Please excuse the 'foremost lyricist and thinker's language:

"One 44, two 45's
3 loaded clips, 4 n****s roll, one n**** drives
500 Benz, 6 reasons why
This kid should die
We shootin every motherf***** outside
Pulled on his block, jumped out the car, guns in our hand
At the same time everybody ran
There that n**** go, hiding in the crowd
Let the trigger blow, 7 shots now he lying on the ground
Blood on the floor
Then we shot some more
N****s he was with
2 n****s hit, one n**** fell
One tryed to run, go get him son
Make sure he's done before we bail, i aint trying to goto jail
Must handle beef, code of the street
Load up the heat, if these n**** think they could **** around
Real n****s do real things
By all means, n****s knowin how we get down… It goes…

Chorus (4X)
Shoot 'em up, just shoot 'em up, what…
(whispering)
Kill kill kill, murder murder murder"

Do the VT moonbats really think this is " a way to help the university community move forward"?

I'm sure Cho would be touched

Why does it house the highest prison population in the world? Given India has 900 mil people and China has 1.6 BILLION shouldn't one of these house the biggest inmate population not the US? Does this not show you that America's portrayal of a perfect, silver spooned lifestyle better than everywhere else is simply not true? I mean after all, most crimes are money orientated and therefore where money is aplenty crime should be low correct? Obviously other nations have something more than just currency to satisfy its citizens and people are not just piggy banks that need filling with as much coinage as possible. Dont you think?

I work with geniuses often and one of them happens to be very attractive. Recently, however, it was brought to my attention that while he slept during an experiment his hands and feet were bound and he awoke to a gun in his face. These women wanted his sperm and they got it. Does this equal rape? We do know that the women must work in the building but everyone thinks its funny. I do not and lately the victim has been withdrawn and quiet but refuses to talk to police about it. I think he is humiliated. Sorry I wrote so much, I just needed to get this out of my system.
