My husband recently went into basic and suffered from Rhabdomyolysis within his first week. He was put on IV for three days ect.. He was told he had small tears in/around the heart from it and is being discharged. He has now been there for about three weeks.

I'm getting no info about anything and I feel I'm really sititng in the dark here. How long does it take to discharge people who get hurt within basic.. and what they do if there are any prolonged problems b/c of it?

He is sitting in a bed all day with all the other people who are sick, or pretending to be, getting treated like.. crap. He says they have no plans to send him home soon it looks like. He wanted to stay but b/c of his heart he cannot. Which he shouldn't of course.

I really would appreciate any informative answers about what I could do or he could do to get more info.. or should I look into legal advice? He isn't fit now to continue, he was when he joined.

If you want to be a smart a** don't post- Thanks

Enron became corrupt with the money it made but its corruption was aided by the big financial institutions: Merril Lynch, trusted Arthur Anderson accounting and the Bush administration. The money was so plentiful nobdoy wanted to stop even though it obvious to anybody who looked Enron was going bankrupt.
The quest to find Osama Ben Laden may have been right, but it soon became corrupt and we were lied to and went into Iraq but not without the help of Congress, Republicans and Democrats and the media as well. Iraq became a "Thing" that nobody wants to stop even though rational thinking people can easily see the lies, oil contracts, bilions to Haliburton while our soldiers are dying. The adminstration continues lying about our "success" and the Democrats keep giving the president powers, the media mumbles that it stinks but still buys the White House propaganda and shovels it down America's throat
In the end it is the people who trusted, who loose.

I am sick and tires of people acting as though because you are under 30 you are stupid enough to follow anything a politician tells you. One of the guys here said that if Hillary signed up her daughter she would get the youth vote. Why on the world would the youth blindly follow Hilllary simply if Chelsea works for her campaign? its the dumbest thing Ive ever heard.

Or Rock the vote. These people clearly dont understand the purpose of Rock music, which is as an expression AGAINST politics. Simply because some musician or actor says vote for a certain person all the youth in America are supposed to blindly vote for that person.

Is it any wonder the youth overwhelmingly dont vote?? Why the heck should we vote for any of these people who act like we are complete and utter morons?

For me it was low crawling. That may sound silly to some, but my elbows were not the toughest part of me! After we learned to low crawl it became a common training tool. I don't remember what myself and a couple of others were doing once (probably along the lines of goofing off), but I do remember a female drill sgt. once making us low crawl a heck of a long ways in terrain that was mostly mud/grass/sticks. Not pleasant, but I can look back and laugh now. Luckily I never had anything thrown into a field that I had to retrieve by low crawling.

For the sake of this question, set aside party affiliation and assume all the candidates stand for basically the same thing. Which of these factors would be most important to you: political experience (or lack of), education, work experience, religious affiliation, economic status (rich, poor, or working class), political endorsements, or something else.

And then to take it a step further, what kind of political issues are most important to you?

The USA, UK, Australia, etc. had invaded and occupied
harmless middle-eastern countries, based on the excuse of the
"war on terra"... but is this the REAL reason? Look at what
really happened on 9-11-2001:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qa7PN-8T2VY

http://www.truth911.net

Watch the movies: 9/11 Mysteries, Terror Storm & Loose
Change

Then visit

http://www.prisonplanet.com/911.html

and read about all the LIES we are being told on TV and by
the corrupt mainstream corporate mass-media.

LIES, LIES, LIES...

The London 7/7 bombings... all staged and faked.

The Bali bombings that killed several Australians... all staged.

Then think about the new anti-terra laws, designed to remove
all your rights and freedoms, like habeus corpus, the Patriot
Act, Anti-Terra legislation, and the legalisation of torture and
spying on westerners.

So is the western world becoming more and more like Nazi
Germany, under the control of a dictator or fascist leaders?

Not a patriot?
0 I have been told that I am not a patriot...?
Because I do not blindly follow our leaders and because I am not a Christian. When did our sense of patriotism become so skewed? When did the word "Patriot" become synonymous with the word "Sheep"? Thomas Jefferson sad that "The spirit of resistance to government is so valuable on certain occasions, that I wish it always to be kept alive". George Washington said that "Government is not reason, it is not eloquence, it is force; like fire, a troublesome servant and a fearful master. Never for a moment should it be left to irresponsible action". The people were meant to question their leaders. I have been accused of being a traitor because I favor liberty over security, yet did not Ben Franklin claim that "Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety"? If these founding fathers were still alive today, would they too be condemned of a lack of patriotism? Why has America strayed so far from her founding principals?

In the last 20 years, we’ve sent billions in aid to the Arab world. We’ve saved Muslims from Bosnia to Kuwait. We’ve removed dangerous thugs in Afghanistan and Iraq, fostering democracies in their place. We’ve opened our borders to immigrants from the Middle East. We’ve paid billions of dollars in inflated oil prices. All the while, many in the West have wrongly blamed themselves for the conditions in the Middle East.

It’s past time for Middle Easterners to fix their own self-inflicted mess. In the meantime, the U.S. and its allies should help as we can — but first protect ourselves from them as we must.

This exclusive offer is reserved for Republican friends of Jesus Christ and His anointed, duly appointed ruler of the civilized world, President George W. Bush:

Did you know that in order to demonstrate His indefatigable readiness and leadership, our infallible Christian President limits Himself to a mere dozen vacations each year, some of them lasting fewer than five weeks?! It’s true! And with a such a grueling calendar, it’s truly a miracle that our Godly President can maintain His legendary between-naps stamina!

Of course, Presidential outings are luxurious, highly exclusive affairs with very short guest lists. Sometimes, even the President’s closest Saudi Arabian friends cannot join him – let alone common sub-royal rabble such ourselves.

The man who impersonated a decorated Marine has so incensed the military community that the director of Tahoma National Cemetery plans to ask the courts to reconsider whether he should do his community service there.

"When this whole thing came to light, it raised a lot of hair on people," said Jim Trimbo, the director of the National Cemetery in Kent.

Reggie Buddle, 59, was sentenced earlier this week to two years of probation and 500 hours of community service at the cemetery after pleading guilty to unlawful wearing of U.S. military medals and decorations.

Buddle, who conducted various services and appeared as an honorary Marine chaplain, wore medals and service decorations for extraordinary valor and combat service in Vietnam, including a Combat Action Ribbon, a Presidential Unit Citation ribbon and the Defense Distinguished Service Medal.

Bush had a romantic idea that he could install a democratic society in Iraq, a tribal society. Removing Hussein released centuries old tribal hatreds between Sunnis, Shiites and Kurds, and thousands of people have been killed.

Gandhi had a romantic idea that he could install a democratic society in India. After he forced the British out, centuries old tribal hatreds between Muslims and Hindus erupted. According to Geographia Asia website, "violence erupted when stranded Muslims and Hindu minorities in the areas fled in opposite directions. Within a few weeks, half a million people had died in the course of the greatest migration of human beings in the world's history."

Which person has caused the greater violence? And why will liberals never learn their false ideals cause more bloodshed than good?

Well i saw 300 in theaters, and I was very satisfied with the movie. And i just finished watching Pathfinder which I though was a very poor movie. The acting was horrible, and the story was cheesy. The only cool thing was the Vikings. To me they seemed pretty bad ***. But I still think Spartans could murder them. SO what do u all think?

I never took jail house confessions for real.

Like when a person in lock up 'confesses' to his cell mate that he did this crime or that crime' and they use it in court as a jail house confession. I do not think they should be able to.

Mostly I think guys in jail try to make themself look as bad and as evil as they can so people will leave them alone..

Am I right or should they be able to use jail house confessions.?

A soldier convicted of rape and murder in an attack on an Iraqi teenager and her family was sentenced Saturday to 110 years in prison, with the possibility of parole after 10 years.

The sentence was part of a plea agreement attorneys for Pfc. Jesse Spielman had made with prosecutors that set the number of years he could serve in prison, regardless of the jury's recommendation. Pfc stated he did it for the USA and was proud to serve for the USA Government. He wants to know why the war supporters have turned against him.
