I was wondering if anyone had any information on the required steps to become a US marine corp doctor. I would like to do this after I graduate... but for right now I was wondering what I will need to do to become this?

Do you have to complete medical school before you enroll into the marines or do they have an education program for this?

I'm assuming I'd have to go through normal marine training first right?

I've tried to look through their site on this.. but I couldn't really find much info.

Would I have to become a normal marine first then study while in the service to become a doctor for them or what?

Any help or information at all would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

When my mother arrived in North America from Russia, she pressured me (a perfect english speaker) to learn Russian yet she failed to learn English (the main language).

Today, I am still thinking which is more important: for the children (born in the USA with perfect english) to learn their parent's language or for the parents to learn English. Which is more appropriate?

Is that why they are so secretive about that stuff, but at the same time CNN has several Larry King shows about UFO sightings, etc? Maybe some people are going to DISAPPEAR soon, and they may want us to believe that they were abducted by aliens from outer space? What do you think?

I don't believe in space aliens, by the way.

Does this include Reagan's "war on drugs" and the legacy police state which ensued, the moral premise: saving you from yourself, all while creating a criminal justice tax dollar built empire?

Hey if you plan on going into either Navy, Army, or Air Force ROTC can you still attend bootcamp the summer before your freshmen year? I know you do field traing and other training as ROTC cadets but is this possible, because if so id like to because I think it would make an officer a better leader and able to relate more with his enlisted men.

Conservative politicians and Republicans overwhelminly support corporate agriculture over small, family farms, but is this the best way to ensure food security?

Vegetables travel thousands of miles before they are purchased by the end user. Livestock is concentrated on large 'finishing' lots in centralized locations. Isn't this a huge gap in our national security? Wouldn't thousands of local farmers raising food for local markets minimize threats to our food supply better than large corporations concentrating all of our food into central locations?

It would seem that diversifying the supply chain would be in our national interest, yet Republican politicians always defer to the likes of Monsanto and Carghill while they overrun family farms. Do Conservative voters agree with this policy, or do you believe that small, local, family farms ensure greater security to the nation?

Guess who owns most of that poppy crop that is used to make heroin? That's right. The Taliban. Who then use that money to buy weapons & supplies for themselves & Al Qaeda to attack US troops in Afghanistan while also supplying every addict & new addict in the USA with Heroin.

Funny how people don't even realize how Afghanistan is almost as screwed up as Iraq. Afghanistan is now a combination of Iraq & Columbia. Ain't that nice to know?

Isn't Bush doing a great job?

My Florida driver's license is currently suspended. However, prior to moving there I had a California license. If I renew my license in California, will I be able to use that license to resume driving, or will that be automatically suspended as well?

More of a curiosity than anything. And for the record, my license was suspended by the family court, not the traffic court. My driving record is spotless, in case you're worried I'm a terrible maniac driver or something. ;)

Truth is that the immigrants of today GENERALLY speaking are the worst in United States history.
The women stomp in the streets mooing for benifits with a bull horn, demanding things that their grandparents had to work for.
The immigrants slap the flag of their country in your face while their grandparants really knew what it was like to be an American. They did not forget their heritage but they did not shove it in your face at every turn either.
They only thing they teach their children is not how to speek English - while their grandparents went to night school to learn the language of their new homeland.
They come here and join gangs and start fights and party - while their grandparants kept their noses clean because they knew that you can't better yourself if you are always in trouble with the law.
Nope the immigrants of today are everything that their grandparents detested.

2 million US troops on the ground in Iraq would very quickly win the war in Iraq & defeat Al Qaeda terrorists in Iraq. Iraq wouldn't become a terror state & Democracy would flourish. And don't forget all that Iraq oil that would begin to flow freely again bring down US gas prices.

But it seems that most Americans are satisfied with an undermanned US army/marines in Iraq who are only big enough to create a stalemate in Iraq & help Al Qaeda recruit new terrorists.

Americans weren't afraid to take on the Nazis or the Japanese in WW2 but for some reason they don't have the balls to take on the terrorists? Why is that?

So I separated from the military Mar of 05 while serving I suffered from excruciating pain in both my legs that i constantly went to the Drs for. They all looked at me like I was crazy and told me that if they stood for 12 hrs their legs would hurt too.. (I was a cop) I couldn't believe the Dr that told me that?!?Anyway, today I believe the reason they gave me the run around was because if they took the time to actually diagnose me I would lose my clearance have my gun taken and of course be medically discharged... So, before I separated I went in again and spoke to a my new PCM and he took the time to treat me and run tests and actually listen, I almost cried because finally someone was listening.. He diagnosed me with Chronic lower extremity pain, however this diagnosis was made after I was separated... Could I still receive benefits if I had the pain while I was active, had the visits documented, but it wasn't diagnosed till after????

we were at a state beach in the parking lot and a friend offered to take us to our car- we didnt really think twice about it, it was a relief to get a ride instead of walk 20 minutes down to where we were parked lugging all our lawn chairs and icechests.. so we hopped our sandy selves into the bed and got pulled over by a cop that was cruising through the parking lot.. he then told all of us to get lost but then kept our friend there to question him i guess. So now im wondering how much he will get fined because we cant leave him hangin with the fine all to himself- we were part of it. i just wanted to know if anyone has been pulled over for this and what the price of their ticket was..? are the regulations the same for state beaches and/ or parking lots?

The way some people express about illegal immigrants is very demeaning. I think that to express an opinion people don't need to be mean. That only will show that the person does not have a strong point to defend.

the war on terror/Iraq next week?

Hundreds of 1000s of Americans voluenteered for service immediately after about 3,000 Americans were killed at Pearl Harbor & FDR put out the call.

Why does Bush/US Army have to use $50,000 signing bonuses to try and entice Americans to join up espeically in a very difficult war in Iraq against America's #1 enemy Al Qaeda?

Are today's Americans affraid to fight the terrorists?

The House of representatives shifted $16 Billion In Tax Breaks From Big Oil To Renewable energy proyects. Like wind and solar power proyects.
That is right, when they were in power, the republicans had given big oil billions in tax credits. That was at the time when the big oil companies were making record profits.
Well today, the representatives of the people took those gifts away and put the money to work for all of us.

Can some please tell me more about the role and duty of Air Force or Naval avaition Navgiators. Are they prestigous and very competitive jobs that lead to promotions or no? Also, can it be a stepping stone to re apply for flight if you dont get it the first time? But most importantly is it a fun, rewarding job that has a counterpart in the civilian world?

That is quite a thing to say. Is it the UN mission and manifest to stand by as passive observer of and sing "oh thats terrible, oh thats terrible" Ethos or get its *** in gear and put in a host of political pressures (e.g.Enomic Sanctions) against countries that persist in Child Trafficking (e.g. Turkey, UAE) I love seeing the people hold hands and sing Kumbaya - ohh - kymbayaaa - we shall - overcome, but that isnt exactly the UN manifest destiny and purpose, is it? No. Of course not. If the UN was interested in stopping child abuses (some of its own members throughout its history have been accused of this) it would get off its hands and start putting in some pressures. It really is quite gung-ho about economic sanctions here and there when it wants to be, but it is so LetsSingKumbayaHowUnfortunateAndContinueSitOnOurHands.
The likes of Angelina Jolie have it way 2 wrong. UNICEF. Why is it not doing more than sitting on its hands and whinning? So poetic and so useless.
