Most British wash their face in the public sinks after blocking the drain. Don't people spit in them and blow their noses in the sink? eww.

I believe that everything comes to an end sooner or later. There are two things that come to mind in terms of the end of America:

(1) Hillary Clinton as President (not because she is a woman but because her view of life spells TROUBLE)

(2) If America does not put a stop to illegal immigration (notice I said illegal not legal), Americans will no longer have a country of their own.

By the way, I was born in the Dominican Republic but I am also legal here. My family and I were granted LEGAL STATUS way back in April 1973. In other words, we did not cross the borders. I am one of many LEGAL hispanics TOTALLY against illegal latinos coming here in the name of cheap labor.

Your view, PLEASE?

A few months back I damaged to hood of a guys car, and he told the police that i damaged his hood, and the rest of the cars damages were from previous incidents, he was a really nice guy at the time, and now i have gotten the whole report back and he claimed 27 items totalling over $6,000 to my name. Including his fenders and rear bumper with most of his car getting repainted, plus i paid premium for his 2007 Mustang Convertable rental car. (Thats not the one they offer for free through ICBC....far off) How much of this am I responsible for? And what can I do if i want to have a legal discussion without going to court?

New world leaders are now coming onto the world stage do you think Bush is starting to be ignored?
If you read the body language between Gordon Brown and GWB there none of the coffee cups or casual clothes or staged stunts like in the past with Blair. Yes Brown wants to keep the UK/US special relationship without the strings added which Bush has added over his tenure if you don't go war with me in Iraq then the special US/UK relationship is over. Do you think Bush is slowly being frozen out as other world leaders come onto the world stage new and fresh like Gordon Brown and Nicolas Sarkozy who is quite a controversial character.

Why -- because they are just human beings like you or me, the fact that they are called upon to deal with violent criminals and have to take lives and lose their lives to should make us care for them not be negative towards them or reject them, after all
apart from the fact that this man or women out there is in uniform --- they are just like you and I, in their private lives.......

I'm just recalling after the collapse of the Soviet Union, it was discovered that the environment was ignored in favor of manufacturing, mining, energy pursuits, etc. With China's explosive growth as well as increasing position in the world economy, do we know whether they take any environmental precautions? Is there any conservation? I recall reading about a hydro-power project (seven gorges? three gorges?) where a dam was built which relocated over a million people. The flooded towns- were they cleaned up prior to being submerged? Does anyone (or CAN anyone) monitor the environment there?

Now, as we all see in America today, everything is in English and Spanish. Now, what I am wondering is if everything should be in English or in Spanish or whatever other languages too. I know when my great-grandpa moved here, he didn't get help in Italian. And if I go to Target, I can't get help in German. So what I think is, cater to one, cater to all.
