actaully a lot of the major laws in the UK are from the 10 commandments so don't be such a muppet

Law connotes order and ethics is morality. Thus, these are in the same category although people usually violate laws.

Laws are rules regulated by state, Ethics are rules regulated by society..

But there is often a link between legality and morality.

Why would you say that actions such as murder, rape, theft, etc. are illegal? Generally it's because society morally condemns such actions.
