Say we were the ones who had Saddam Hussein as our leader. Would you support the war if we had bombs go off all over America every single day and people getting killed and you being afraid to leave their house and complete instability and foreign soldiers walking all over our streets?

Now I know that some of you are going to say "Saddam killed his own people." But the last time he gassed his own people was in the 1980's. And there was no evidence that he would use or even had weapons of mass destruction again.

So basically, if the current situation in America would be just like one in Iraq (bombs going off every day, never knowing if you are going to make it to the next day, absolutely no "freedom" to leave your house without being scared that you will never return, having friends and family dead and/or completely mutilated) would you support the conflict?

.... From unfair pay??? What I mean is my employer told me that I was "exempt" from getting paid time and a half after 8 hours of work... and I usually work 14 hours a day, which I also heard that under the California Labor Law that if you work more than 12 hours a day you get paid Double?!?!?
I really would like to know if there is anyone out there that understands my question, and if I'am protected from this unfair pay of my employer???
Does anyone know where I can find hard solid proof that California has Laws protecting workers from this type of "exemption"???
I would appreciate it very much if anyone really understands if I qualify for time and a half and double time as a Bus operator in the state of California???
Thank you very much.

You stay up for 16 hours.
He stays up for days on end.

You take a warm shower to help you wake up.
He goes days or weeks without running water.

You complain of a "headache", and call in sick.
He gets shot at as others are hit, and keeps moving forward.

You put on your anti war/don't support the troops shirt, and go meet up with your friends.
He still fights for your right to wear that shirt.

You make sure you're cell phone is in your pocket.
He clutches the cross hanging on his chain next to his dog tags.

You talk trash about your "buddies" that aren't with you.
He knows he may not see some of his buddies again.

You walk down the beach, staring at all the pretty girls.
He patrols the streets, searching for insurgents and terrorists.

You complain about how hot it is.
He wears his heavy gear, not daring to take off his helmet to wipe his brow.

You go out to lunch, and complain because the restaurant got your order wrong.
He doesn't get to eat today.

Bush usually spends August "at the Ranch", at least he has every year so far but I haven't heard or read anything yet this year about vacation at the ranch plans for him.

Has anyone heard anything about him going to the ranch this year?

I really don't like the idea of him in Washington with Congress not minding the store next month.

If a man is on the street with a gun and is threatening a woman with it, a police officer will shoot him dead if he has the chance to save the life of that one woman.

Yet our government can't cause pain - without killing, to one terrorist to save the lives of 500,000 Americans in a nuclear attack??? Somebody has to explain this to me.

And before you libs start, I am talking about EXTREME SITUATIONS ONLY. Such as we capture a terror suspect involved in a huge plot against us that's going to occur within hours. This scenerio hasn't even happened yet in America in real life - but it could.

How can you liberals honestly remind us of the death toll to American troops or to Iraqis over there in Iraq every single day, but at the same time you would choose to let 500,000 Americans die in one attack in order to spare one terrorist scumbag some pain. I don't get it.

it comes to war issues they should both work together instead of throwing blame and unnecessary name calling .

First I am not into grand conspiracies. In fact I find most of them just plain silly. However, everytime I see mention of these groups it seems they are almost always equated with Republicans. If there is a New World Order or an Illuminati isn't it much more likely that these groups would non specific in party affiliations and corrupt all politicians equally in order to achieve their goals.
