I'm sure many have heard of the thousands of war brides as an after effect of previous wars. Notably Japanese, Germans, Koreans, etc. however, were there any war brides thus far resulting from war with Iraq or Afghanistan?

I salute and congratulate those two solders.
Despite the racism ratio and all these nonsense in America to wards Muslims these days, they did a noble thing. Again, out of love or not, they're the true solders and I wish more of them follow their paths.

Until you asked this question, I hadn't.
However, read this article and you'll see that our military boys today are no different than their fathers and grandfathers. They just have to wait longer to come home.
