"Green" environmentally friendly weapons which don't make use of fossil fuels and it's derivatives like oil, gasoline/petrol, kerosene? What about the manufacturing processes? Are they using recycled paper and water?

Or do they need all the spare oil & resources to fund their great killing machines? It would be hypocritical of governments to impose such strict environmental management legislation on people and manufacturers but not adopt them for their own processes and needs.

but hey they are in the business of killing so why should they care?

A roomate of mine issued me checks for rent, but he told me to wait untill he has funds on the account to deposit the checks. It's been quite sometime and I am in the process of evicting him. Also, now he seems not willing to pay at all which is quite irresponsible and rude. I have his checks with his signatures. Can I press fraud charges against him? Indicating that he knowngly and intentionaly gave me checks with no funds that would bounce everytime i deposit them on my account?

I have been told by one person who should know "Yes", and I have had another person who should know this say "No"!

Now I am confused....not a surprise when dealing with Medicare and Tricare of course.

AS i originally understand it, as a Military retiree, if I decline Medicare Part B, and then enroll for Tricare prime, I have to pay an enrollment and participation fee to be in Prime.

however, if I did pay for part B Medicare, then Tricare prime would be free to particpate in.

So, who is right here?

Thanks.

In the end, the situation in Iraq remains grave. In particular, we still face huge hurdles on the political front. Iraqi politicians of all stripes continue to dawdle and maneuver for position against one another when major steps towards reconciliation — or at least accommodation — are needed. This cannot continue indefinitely. Otherwise, once we begin to downsize, important communities may not feel committed to the status quo, and Iraqi security forces may splinter along ethnic and religious lines.

How much longer should American troops keep fighting and dying to build a new Iraq while Iraqi leaders fail to do their part? And how much longer can we wear down our forces in this mission? These haunting questions underscore the reality that the surge cannot go on forever. But there is enough good happening on the battlefields of Iraq today that Congress should plan on sustaining the effort at least into 2008.

The Wall Street Journal: “Virtually none of this would exist had Democrats succeeded over the years in their many attempts to kill missile defenses.

The Wall Street Journal: “The Aegis cruisers have successfully shot down missiles in seven of eight tests in recent years, and could become an important player in protecting allies and U.S. forces against regional missile threats.”

The Navy had at least one ship-based Aegis missile-defense system deployed off the Korean coast, with a potential to shoot down a North Korean missile

During The Bush Administration, Democrats Have Voted Against Missile Defense At Least Nine Times:

In The Early 90’s, Democrats Cut Missile Defense Funding At Least Seven Times:

During The Reagan Administration, A Majority Of Democrats Voted Against Missile Defense.

If Democrats Succeeded In Cutting Missile Defense The U.S. Would Not Be Able To Defend Itself Against North Korea’s Missiles.

What kind of money do the dems stand to make by getting suckers to pay for carbon credits. It isn't like they're going to offset the money paid with a tax cut or anything.

..if they really "party everytime a soldier dies" as one complete idiot conservative recently wrote, wouldn't they just stay out of the way and keep sending them to Iraq?
Wouldn't they allow Walter Reed to continue to deteriorate instead of holding congressional hearings?
Wouldn't they side with the Bush Administration and "strongly oppose" key military pay and benefit gains, instead of fighting to get them the raises that they deserve?

My landlord has me and my family living in a home that has a damaged rug that was damaged due to 2wo floods that occured because of pipe problems. (Remember it's his home and his pipes that caused our flooring to be damaged) The rug is filled with sewage water. 2wo the basement has mold on it walls which is definetely unsanitary and can cause serious breathing problems (lung infection, asthma, etc.) As a dweller to the home I would like to know if I were to call the city (NYC) 311 and complained about the conditions if the landlord at his will could remove us from his home with out legitament reason. The reason he might want to react like this is because we are paying low rent compared to other residents in the area. I've lived here all my life but after my parents died things have fallen apart drastically.

Repeated unending investigations that take up thousands of hours of the administration's time.

How does tying up key official's time to try and set perjury traps help the president do his job?
