There were false allegations of abuse against my son and husband in regards to our two younger children. I am still fighting to prove the allegations false. In the meantime, my daughter (middle child) was removed from the home and given to her biological father. He lives in a one bedroom apt where there are 3 - 4 adutls living. My daughter sleeps on a loveseat .In court her father lied about the number of people living in his home. He has since admitted to me that at least one other person besides him and his wife live there however, he could always lie and say he never said. If I were able to get at least two of his neighbors to sign a statement that says "from this date to this date I have observed 3-4 adults living in apt X" would those statements be admissible in court?

....pirates from the Barbary Coast of North Africa.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barbary_pirates

According to the historian Robert Davis between 1 million and 1.25 million Europeans were captured by pirates and sold as slaves during the 16th and 17th century. These slaves were captured mainly from seaside villages in Italy, Spain and Portugal, and from more distant places like France or England, the Netherlands, Ireland and even Iceland and North America.

On 20 June 1631 the entire village of Baltimore, County Cork, Ireland was kidnapped by Barbary Cosairs and sold into slavery in Algiers.

Should we in Britain demand an apology and restitution for these crimes against human rights from the King of Morroco and the Presidents of Algeria and Tunisia? Or should we seek it from Muslims in general?

Finally got r/o against my stalker. Though he has stopped alot of what he was doing,

He STILL KEEPS DRIVING PAST MY HOUSE, SEVERAL TIMES ADAY.

I keep calling Sheriffs out, and what happens is VERY FEW are willing to even make a report. But at least they provide me with a incident #, and seem helpful. Until last night. After waiting for about 4hrs, the deputy told me (never even looked at r/o) That

"THIS IS A PUBLIC STREET, SO THERE IS NOTHING I CAN DO ABOUT IT!, IF HE COMES ON MY PROPERTY, THEN CALL HIM!"

the court order states 100 yards. He has no reason to be passing by my home, other than to upset me.

Am I misunderstanding something here, or should I call and hope to get a different deputy?

Hey, I would like to know how you go about the political process of trying to get a law changed. I would like to try and get the legal drinking age lowered to 18. I feel it is odd that we can go die for our country and vote for the next world leader, yet we can not have a glass of alcohol. Also, all the other countries in the world has a 18 yr old drinking age and they have a lower amount of drunk driving crashes. Not to mention, most of the crashes are of people of legal age, so this will NOT effect the drunk driving rate. So, please do not say it will increase drunk driving because it will not. Not to mention, anyone under the age of 21 can get alcohol easily. I would like to try and make a change instead of just sitting around and complaining about the age limit. Try and make a difference. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Private Beauchamp recounted some grotesque incidents in his columns, including his own mocking of a woman disfigured by the war and accounts of a soldier who took joy in running over a dog in a Bradley fighting vehicle and another who found the top of a child’s skull and wore it on his head as a joke.

Hi Folks,
I mean such as recent incident whereby I whizzed through a set of red traffic lights conveying an elderly gentleman to hospital, after a bump with a hit & run idiot.
The police caught up with me at A&E, and despite doing around 100mph down the local motorway, I was given "fair enough, mate"
So where do we stand ?
Is it reasonable to break a standing law if it transpires to be in the common good?
All thoughts & similar experiences thankfully recieved.

Bob.

This article from USA today reminds us that low poll numbers mean nothing so early in the campaign.

"George McGovern, Jimmy Carter, Michael Dukakis and Bill Clinton were national unknowns before winning the Democratic presidential nominations in, respectively, 1972, 1976, 1988 and 1992. Carter and Clinton went from faint blips in the early polls to the White House."

Dolphin's are very capable of communicating in a complex way with their own species. George Bush seems on the other hand seens to struggle with stringing a sentence together. So the question is who has the greater I.Q a dolphin or GWB.

I also saw a clip of him giving the American nation the one finger salute which also shows he's a bit dim and does not have very good decision making skills. Seeing as he is a puppet president I suppose this does not matter to much!

I lot of war cheerleaders are upset that we haven't found any WMD in Iraq so now somehow they were smuggled into Syria. What WMD are we looking for? Are they like the WMD that Israel has?

Americans must have the freedom to disagree with the Government, or one man could control American without taking any notice of the people.

TV news helicopters collide, killing 4 - Yahoo News
By JACQUES BILLEAUD, Associated Press Writer

Two news helicopters covering a police chase on live television collided and crashed to the ground Friday, killing all four people on board in a plunge that viewers saw as a jumble of spinning, broken images.
Both helicopters went down in a park in central Phoenix and caught fire. No one on the ground was hurt.

TV viewers did not actually witness the accident because cameras aboard both aircraft were pointed at the ground. But they saw video from one of the helicopters break up and begin to spin before the station abruptly switched to the studio.

Television station KNXV reported that it operated one of the choppers. The other was from KTVK. A pilot and photographer aboard each chopper were killed.

Our government is thoroughly corrupt. But the Democrats and Republicans have divided us up, and in that way they keep the corruption going. When we refuse to elect either party, we will have a chance to clean up the mess.

This one is great!!! More people who are sick of both sides

I'm writing an essay on the conflict between a cop's duty and their personal beliefs. If you are/have been a cop/correctional officer please answer any or all of the following questions.

1. What situations may 'cause this conflict? (protecting KKK rallies, inmates)

2. What runs through your mind in these situations?

3. Do you have a choice to participate or not? Do you think you should have a choice? If you did have the choice, would you opt out of it or does your belief in your duty come before your other beliefs?

5. What is the atmosphere around the station like after such an event?

Also, if anyone knows any website where I can find more information on these topics I'd greatly appreciate it.

If you have something negative to say about cops, I don't wanna hear it. You'd be wasting your time and you need to evalute the role cops play in your safety. You hate that they exist because they're doing their job yet you complain when they can't come to your rescue.
