I've been back from my year and a half long deployment for 7 months now. Since I'm in the army national guard, that means that I went back to soldiering once a month and doing the civilian thing the rest of the time. So far this year, I've managed to get my bachelor's degree and acceptance to graduate school. However, I just don't feel happy, and it feels like my life just isn't what it was before. Somehow I'm not as excited about my goals as I was before I got deployed. I certainly haven't had success in my personal life lately, which I think adds to my malaise.

I've been thinking about volunteering for another deployment earlier than necessary. It feels as if I belong in the war zone now, as crazy as that sounds, especially since I was never a supporter of the war. Am I crazy? Has anyone else felt like this?

Not only pro-choice bu are for late term abortions, For morning after pill (aka plan b) and for laws that FORCE Catholic and other Christian pharmacist to sell "Plan B" pill even if the pharmacist is very against the pill for moral and religious reasons. For gay marriage.... Especially if being pro-choice prevents them from receiving communion they still stay strong with it....

ALL WHILE PARADING AROUND LIKE A DEVOUT CATHOLIC!!!

"Suicide" bomber? Suicide is a singular act of taking ones own life. Wouldn't a better term be Homicide Bomber, or Mass Murderer Bomber? Why do we glorify this act of mass murder?

Please give your opinion and some things backing your opinion.

Personally, I think that we should stay out of Darfur as American soldiers are exactly that, American soldiers, they should not be used as world police, they should be used to defend the homeland. I also believe that if one group of people wants to kill another group of people you can't really stop them without much more killing.

Please, no obnoxious comments bashing "hippies" and no rambling emotional stories about starving Sudanese babies.

Thank you.

Was it really just 2004 that Bush was re-elected, the GOP controlled Congress and everyone thought being in Iraq was just dandy? That everyone was pretending global warming was a liberal conspiracy? That Bush was actually considered a leader we wanted in office if there was a crisis?

Talk about imploding. Flash forward 3 years, and the GOP can't even field a conservative candidate for the presidency. The leading presidential Dem candidates have tens of millions of dollars on hand, while the GOP candidates are scrapping together pennies (or borrowing $6 million from themselves, like Romney, to cover deficit spending). It's hilarious.
