No, the wall will just be used to keep Canadians in! You risk not being able to cross the border if a catastrophe occurs in Canada. The refugee thing can always go both ways you know. The world population is growing very fast.
A fence will not keep hungry and thirsty people out. The money is better spent on birth control and the education of females in the developing nations.
I know there is frustration, however the USA has dealt with this unlimited emigration and cultural mixing for hundreds of years. Now many other nations are feeling the affects of these cultural problems too. For many years people have criticized the USA for its treatment of emigrants; now these same nations are doing the exact same thing to their emigrants! The old situation: it is easier to be wise when it isn't you having to make the decisions and take the consequences!

They're right to do so. The only reason it should be scary to the United States is if they fear free speech, such as those who deliberately post known fraudulent stories (such as one of your other posts) as a way to smear large groups of people (down here in the mid-Northern part of the Americas, that's called bigotry).
Free speech has a habit of revealing people for what they really are. Hard to hide things with that many people speaking up.
Read your answers some time. Revealing.
Read the rest of his posts. Oh, wait, can't. Private. Hidden. Secret. Makes you wonder why he's hiding them.
mckenziecalhoun’s Rules of Political Acumen
Rule number 63: There are three things that people expect you to forget when they want you to hate your country so that they can be put in power to “fix it”:
1) How many people are immigrating into your country (as of 2006, the United State accepts more legal immigrants yearly than the rest of the world combined);
2) How many allies your country has in general (46 official, many more unofficial);
3) How many people are proud of your country (World Values Survey puts the U.S. at the top of the list, 77%).

YES I'm sick and tired of seeing eskimo's at my front door offering to shovel the snow off my front lawn. Not only that, they beat my dog with a bat thinking it's a baby seal. Damn those Icebacks!

yes, hopefully canada will not get sucked into the joke our political system has become. You can't even speak out against the president here without being called unpatriotic or a terrorist sympathizer. Not to mention the illegal wiretaping. And have you seen the joke of a president we have? Watch, I will get a ton of thumbs down because I am "un-american" for speaking my views.

Geez, what is it with everyone and walls? You'd think we were back in the Middle Ages again, constructing fortresses against the barbarian hoardes.
Canada's got the RCMP. They'll do just fine.

Works for me. That'll free up the 20 border guards we have along that border, and we can shift 'em south.

Why is the USA such a scary place to you? Is it because here, we actually have to work to get money and health care and not rely on welfare and the government? Are all Canadians as lazy and ignorant as you?

Yes, why not. I'm sure that your country buys into the conspiracy theories, just like you do. You're sadly allowing the wrong group of people to influence you and as far as I'm concerned, they're not patriots of our country. Please take them with you when you seal yourselves in.
