Politics & Government - 31 July 2007

The government are builing new homes, building on green belt and putting up flats up in the city; thus causing over crowding. They cost too much, interest rates are going up. The rich will soon be owning a home and not the poor. The drainage system is overloaded resulting in the flooding/bacterial after effects and needs modernising. The government are causing man made disasters. Not only from this point of view, there is a sociological point of overcrowding, health, crime and homelessness. When will the government learn? (Never I think).

Texas is flooded. You are covering the event from the air in a helicopter. You are busy taking lots of photographs of the destruction when suddenly you see a body struggling in the water. I was wondering what a Muslim thinks about the new Iraq Constiution. I read it the other night, it seems to me that it could turn out to be a very bad thing. Do you think it will be good for Islam? Or are they perverting the religion? All i know is that the United States perverted Christianity, by using it in our Declaration, and Constitution. I dont have much knowledge of Islam, so thats why i ask. And im not aware of the Iraqi leaders' views of Islam, or if they are right or wrong in their beliefs. I know it claims to be for Islam but what do you feel about it? A republic.. with a leader thats not chosen by the people.. isnt that an empire? Sounds evil to me. What do you think?

About a year ago I had a car accident which was my fault. My car insurance company failed to pay up in time, and a CCJ Summons was filed against me, and resulted in judgement.

I informed the car insurance company and their solicitors when the summons was filled, and they didn't act on it in time. In fact, the solicitors are now saying they didn't even receive the summons I faxed them (which I have proof of).

Anyways, I need to make the situation better. The lawyers are saying that a certificate of satisfaction has been obtained. As I would understand this, this just shows that the payment has been made now. NOT that it should have not even been entered into judgement in the first place - because of administrative error? Is this right?

I want to know what I should be telling the solicitors to be doing, to make things better - they have no clue.

Please help..anyone..anything

im so tired of hearing the excuse from pro-illegals that many americans are on welfare! WTF??? most Americans are citizens who have paid taxes all their lives and they may need welfare at some point for their children....maybe some of them are lazy and dont want to work....but what difference does it make.....this is THEIR country, not the illegals country! enough of that excuse! id rather support an American citizen(even if they are lazy!) on Welfare than letting an illegal to get it...espacially for their anchor babies....they have no right to get welfare as this is not their country! what would you choose???

trust me, i know about this isssue.ive lived around predominantly illegal immigrant areas and i know many lazy illegals who have welfare and get many government benefits many americans dont get!
