we are witnessing what is happening to the Korean hostages, if the same were to happen to any American, will U.S
be watching ?

The US will get involved in covert actions when Korea request our help, until such time, they will watch. In the case of our own citizens being taken hostage, we don't have to wait to be asked, and we do everything we can to return them to safety without dealing with the terrorist. Our policy is and will continue to be, " We don't negotiate with Terrorist."

The US is doing whatever the can to rescue the hostages. I am sure the are staging opportunities to retrieve them. They are not going to tell you what us are doing because if we found out so would the hostage-takers.

Our UN policies dictate never dealing with terrorists, can you imagine the repurcussions if we trade for these poor people they would be taken hostages every day yo.
