Think about it.If there wasn't paper money how would drug dealers, illegals etc.be able to be paid? With a Visa machine?I don't think so.I think it would solve many problems just by this one action. What do you think?

There is still Bartering. Stolen items can always be traded for drugs.
added:
If they already have the house, and the car, they can simply steal what they need from walmart to feed, clothe and quench their thirst. And I would bet that there are homeowners, and car owners that would barter their property away for stolen things.
One never knows how it would work. I only made mention of this because our tax forms have this bartering listed as a trade income to be claimed.

no. currency is very important in an economy. i appreciate your willingness to stop drug dealing and crime, but your proclamation will make more problems than solve.
we need a form of currency that can be easily handled and passed. its been around since the dawn of man and it has not changed since its such a good idea.

You would also have to get other countries to do away with currency for that to work. As the dealer could just be paid in currency from another country.
just isnt feasible.

They would simply barter goods for goods. Perhaps trade guns for drugs, or stolen merchandise for drugs. You wont solve the problem by punishing the innocent....

They would figure out something else.
Don't forget the corrupt government employees. They will always be there. They will do anything for money.
Scary, isn't it.
But you have the right to dream..:-)
