I believe that everything comes to an end sooner or later. There are two things that come to mind in terms of the end of America:

(1) Hillary Clinton as President (not because she is a woman but because her view of life spells TROUBLE)

(2) If America does not put a stop to illegal immigration (notice I said illegal not legal), Americans will no longer have a country of their own.

By the way, I was born in the Dominican Republic but I am also legal here. My family and I were granted LEGAL STATUS way back in April 1973. In other words, we did not cross the borders. I am one of many LEGAL hispanics TOTALLY against illegal latinos coming here in the name of cheap labor.

Your view, PLEASE?

I have to say that I agree with your views.
My husband also came legally into the USA in the early 1970's. In may ways having illegals in the USA makes natural born Americans look at all immigrants as illegal or trouble makers. It is not fair to those who came legally and followed the laws.My husband finds that many people in the states give him strange looks since they can hear his accent and it really isn't right.

That would not be the tip of the international. in step with risk the present civilization, or areas of it, as we see it immediately. the international, or Earth, itself will probable bypass on for some greater billion years. i do no longer understand if the Earth might pay lots interest to the tip of yet another human civilization. there has been considered one of those great sort of upward push and falls of them in the previous few measly thousand years, because of the fact the Earth has been around for approximately 4 billion years. in actuality, I doubt if Earth will additionally word the lack of ability of the human race whilst it disappears in some years, whether that be in 1000's or hundreds or perhaps thousands and thousands of years, that's extremely unlikely. although, i do no longer think of the "huge conflict" would be between US, China and Russia. The chinese language comprehend that the dumbest ingredient that they could do is to get entangled in a conflict; all they could desire to is look on the U. S.. so as that they are going to stand back. a great conflict, unhappy to assert now-a-days, is going to be a effect of religious hatred, and additionally you already know the place that's coming from. That, of direction, would be between countries of the midsection east and the west, which will particularly be the U. S.. that's, if the U. S. manages to hold mutually long adequate to combat a great conflict. the U. S. won't have the skill to assume lots help, sooner or later, from its "western allies". can not say what the Russians will do, probable watch and wait. yet, i'm in basic terms an previous cynic.

America will one day be challenged in terms of supremacy but not by illegals or sista girl Clinton. In due season, the clamp will be placed on illegals because it is an issue that must be dealt with speedily.

Right now, there is too much hatred being thrown back and forth. I am not white or hispanic, but I see the two going at it in the wrong way. It is about illegals not hispanics, and those whites who oppose it are not racist.

How are you doing my Dominican brotha?

I don't think "CHANGE" means an "End" for America. Why can't you think of this as a new beginning? I think Hilary becoming president is great because finally a women view is going to be seen and heard. Now, about Illegal immigration... yourself being Latino I don't understand why you would say the things you are saying. You are one of the FEW lucky ones that haven't had the need to do some of the thing that illegal immigrants do. Yet, I ask you, If you hadn't been as lucky or had the money to legally obtain your legal status would you have come to America illegally? Be honest, get real...

Since Hillary is hand holding with La Raza, she committed political suicide. As far as the US ending, the only downfall we face is the burden of all of these illegals! And that will be over shortly!

I am Dominican also, not everybody has had the same luck that you and family have, why do you worry about Hillary becoming president? is just because you can be another Dominican Macho? or what? ok, it really sound like you already lost your identity, POOR YOU, or is just because of the fact that you came here in 1973, big s***, I live here 32 years, I just turn 41 yesterday, yes and I am worry, but I am worry about all the inmigrants from around the world that come here and face all this tuff laws and harrasment from people like you and this racist society, it's a god damn shame, that just because your whole family probably is here, you forgot about others. SHAME ON YOU, and don't worry America is not ending not time soon, and weather you like it or not INMIGRATION IS NOT GOING TO END, oh well it may end as soon as USA, stop their propaganda and making all countries believe that this is a BED OF ROSES.

First, you may be here legally, but during the early 70's there was a huge problem in the Dominican republic and the US was granting assylum to many of your country if you could get here. Dominicans were coming on homemade rafts, in hulls of ships, even one man tried swimming from island to island on a surf board to get here. People from china were doing the same thing. I even had a Karate instructor that escaped China in 1972 on a raft of Basketballs. He made it about 500 miles off the coast till an American patrol ship on military manuevers saw him and his friend and pulled them up. So, to say you came here legally is only by luck.
Second, I don't see a problem with Hilary. She is straight forward and to the point. She says what she means and doesn't sugar coat it or try to sway voters on the issues just to get the vote. She is for immigration reform which is mostly shortening the wait time for certain types of admittance. More thorough background checks and a reveiw of those already here illegally with a criteria of taxes paid, work history, criminal backgrounds, single or family residence, children born here, ect ect. Plus her political stances on education (even she beleives the no child left behind law is crap), rights of all people, national healthcare, national debt reduction, limited military presence in foreign countries, and NAFTA trade limits or the break down of NAFTA all together.
So before you condemn the "illegals" who live here you need to look at your background and how you were given your legal status. I have several friends who are Dominican and have been here for over 20 yrs or more and were granted assylum at any time and yes they have applied numerous times. A lot of money spent for nothing except to pad the pockets of the federal government.
And based on immigration stance (illegal and legal alike) this nation was founded by immigrants and have benefited by them in many ways. Not just by inventions and cultural influence but keeping the wage costs down so to reflect on the more moving rate of inflation and cost of living expense. Each state has it's issues on illegal and legal immigrants because of the laws for each state differs when it comes to social and welfare issues, living accomodations, and work available and the vicinity of that state to those borders even those that are close to the shipping harbors as well. So unless you can build a fence and post military every 100 ft all around the nation and put tracking devices on those who are here legally then there will have to be a solution to the immigration issue that benefits all involved. You can not just deport and it work. And also, not all illegal immigrants are latinos. Here in North Carolina we have turkish, indian, middle eastern and asian illegal immigrants. So what do you do with those when we are in diplomatic relationships that are very strained and trying to keep the peace with them. Too many factors to be just one group labeled "illegal".
And for Marlyn T - it isn't right for anyone to stereotype your husband. Me personally my first question to him would be "What country are you from and tell me about it!" I love talking to people with accents and of different cultures. Just ignore the idiots.

god bless you and your family for coming legally. and welcome to America. America will eventually become over populated. we will start needing more food sources. i work in retail, i see it every night. we really need to stop the flow of illegals coming in. they are not checked by a dr. our children's education is suffering because illegal children can not speak english. we Americans are footing the bill to educate them and they have the nerve to walk out of class for nothing.
