Take the Dem views, add them to the Repub views and divide by two. He is a moderate. His thinking towards the military is like Eisenhower's. He is anti-Constitution in his views on the Second Amendment. He is realist enough to understand the importance of continuing in Iraq until a reasonable result occurs. He is more anti-pork then most.

He's not someone I could support because of some corruption gaffs in his past but a run by him with Nunn as VP could very well sweep to victory if he ran as an Independent. He's kind-of like Lieberman is to the Dems - Dems don't like him but he wins anyway (as an Independent). I doubt he can win the Repub nomination (the radicals rule in both parties).
