Well... I'm a Libertarian, not a Republican, so my opinion may not count. If the Republican party was still based upon the 'Gold(water) Standard' of true conservatism, I'd be a Republican. All I can do now is tell you is why I'm not.

The Republican Party has been going downhill since they moved away from Goldwater Conservatism (small gov't) to cater to right-wing religious coalitions. Actually, I think they were hijacked and too greedy for an increased political base to notice or care... now they're stuck.
Goldwater had an opinion on that!

I think there's also a good chance that if Goldwater were alive today, he might well walk away in disgust, declaring himself a Libertarian. I'm truly sorry the Republican party is in the shape it is today, because now that I've "grown up", I have no party that represents my views.

ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, PBS, New York Times, USA Today, Washington Post are all liberal media outlets. It's tough to argue against that. All you have to do is look at their programing and their op-eds. Their ratings reflect this as well. All of these news outlets have numbers that are plummeting. You're in denial on this one.

The media is pro-new world order (anti-american). The government is pro-new world order (anti-american). The media is in bed with the government.

The left/right paradigm is of little significance to them, as long as they are able to continue what they are doing without the public getting too angry. Sometimes a republican is required to do things(go to war), sometimes it is a democrat(amnesty).

The media is not liberal or conservative. The media is anti America. They hate this country and want to see it fall. They attacked Clinton same as Bush.

I see you have been led around by the nose so long that you don't notice the ring in it. Keep them blinders on, and follow that carrot on a stick all the way to the slaughterhouse, but never ever question why or how you got there.

How can you blame media when it is us dumbing ourselves down by watching it. Many of the Republicans have lost there way but thats what happens when you have money and power. The only one I know of, that is holding onto a true republic is RON PAUL. Peace

I have enough guts to disagree with your premise. Just because someone does not agree with you does not mean they lack guts. And definitely not brains.

Let me think a minute.

Um, nope. Still Republican here.

Sorry, maybe next time (doubt it - lol)

I disagree and won't admit to something that's false.
