For the sake of this question, set aside party affiliation and assume all the candidates stand for basically the same thing. Which of these factors would be most important to you: political experience (or lack of), education, work experience, religious affiliation, economic status (rich, poor, or working class), political endorsements, or something else.

And then to take it a step further, what kind of political issues are most important to you?

basically they need a little politcal experience but they dont NEED a lot. They need a good education and thats about it - who cares about religion, economic status etc.

I'm a libertarian at heart so I'm similar to repubs in that i want low taxes and also similiar to the dems in that i dont want gov't interfering with our personal lives. But economic issues are the most important to me....I'm gonna vote for the candidate who allows me to do the most with my money - i feel like i am smart enough and responsible enough to spend my money on my own. I don't need some gov't telling me how to do it.

i usually vote republican even though a disagree with a lot of their message, because money is everything. Plus, if republicans ruled the US, it would be pretty stable. If democrats ruled the US, we'd have communism.

"Innie minnie minny moe"

Sounds like the Democratic National Convention.
