Bush had a romantic idea that he could install a democratic society in Iraq, a tribal society. Removing Hussein released centuries old tribal hatreds between Sunnis, Shiites and Kurds, and thousands of people have been killed.

Gandhi had a romantic idea that he could install a democratic society in India. After he forced the British out, centuries old tribal hatreds between Muslims and Hindus erupted. According to Geographia Asia website, "violence erupted when stranded Muslims and Hindu minorities in the areas fled in opposite directions. Within a few weeks, half a million people had died in the course of the greatest migration of human beings in the world's history."

Which person has caused the greater violence? And why will liberals never learn their false ideals cause more bloodshed than good?

i believe Ghandi was causing a revolution against a foreign power (british rule). Ghandi's efforts made his people see the power they possess and chase Britians out.
Bush, on the other hand, is living like a king, taking vacations, posing for photo ops, and chuckling at dumb jokes...and started a war for other political reasons. WMD, Hussien, the impending Sunni resistance, (we all know oil has something to do with this). Since when do we just go and help countries set up democracy...if so, why isn't N.Korea still as it is? (no natural resource to take....hmmmm)
Rarely does the end justify the means.

For one Bush is not a Liberal he is very conservative. For two you always have to break a few eggs to make a cake. It will take time for things to work out in Iraq. Either way I am proud to be apart of the greatest nation on earth and did and still would serve it with great pride. If you want to see a nation fall just open the boarders and let every half wit that hates you and me for no good reason come on in and kill us with suicide bombs.
