Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but that doesn't mean everyone will agree with them. People make value judgements all the time, it is what our belief systems are based on.
It's ok that people don't agree, it opens you up to other views for consideration, even if you don't agree.
You can respect people's right to their view but you don't have to agree with them, that's what makes debate interesting and us progressive; well hopefully!

My dear tigerjane 70, being entitled to expressing your own opinion does not exempt it from the judgment of others. That is actually a good thing. One good reason (there are many bad reasons!) for expressing your opinion is to get feedback from others. Although you will find (as here on Yahoo Answers) most feedback ranges from the inane to the downright mean, occasionally someone will offer another way of seriously considering the same thing you are. These are opportunities to think through and grow your own thoughts, or even explore areas you weren't aware of. Worry less about the judgment of others than about the critical thinking processes you and other thoughtful people who have different takes bring to the discussion.

Everyone thinks that their opinion is right - which will then mean anyone with a different opinion is wrong - in their opinion. Its human nature and it makes the world an interesting place.

You are entitled to your own opinion and they are entitled to judge it. Not everyone is going to agree with you.

A lot of people do not understand that living in a tolerant society means that you have to tolerate the intolerable, including allowing people to have views that you do not hold yourself.

In UK we did have freedom of speech until the Muslims arrived in great numbers then the law changed - we no longer have freedom of speech when it comes to giving your opinion - check the search engine for freedom of speech and you will find the Muslims have laws on their side.

I guess because everyone thinks THEIR opinion is the right one. And maybe they want to insinuate their opinion into your life.
C'est la vie !

Seriously! WTF. I can understand criticism in an adult calm manner but come on now. I've seen some answers on hear that sound like they're coming from 5th graders.
