I think a big part of it has to do with the fact that lyme disease can affect the brain and thought processes, (it can make you insane) does anybody see signs of insanity in the president?

Its probably the same reason that they didnt show FDR in a wheel chair very often. Or leaders are to be seen as strong people. But every person has a right to privacy
