My Grandfather has been deceased for about 8 years and we get postal mail 2-3 times a week for him, plus he has never lived in this state...

This might be a dumb question but is there any way to stop the mail or at least lessen it? Maybe a list to put his name on or a business/service that can help?

TIA

Recently a relative passed away and we were advised to get a couple dozen copies of her death certificate and mail it to all the interests she was involved with.

there isn't any reliable thank you to end unsolicited mail. attempt writing, "Deceased" on the exterior of the envelope and putting it back into the mail. (be optimistic to bypass out the bar code, if any, on the backside of the envelope or on the handle label.) regardless of if that's top notch Mail the publish place of work will return it to the sender. If it is no longer, they'll in simple terms throw it away. you may call or in any different case notify guy or woman mailers. companies will probable have not got any actual capability to end the mailings on the grounds that maximum use an outdoors provider for their unsolicited mail. i'm sorry on your loss. many persons share your journey and our suitable needs are with you.

Call the Post Office from which his mail comes- tell them your grandfather has "long gone"- & to SEND BACK- ALL the mail addressed to him (they'll mark it; DECEASED. RETURN TO SENDER). That's your ONLY hope... -Good luck.! :)
