It's been six years since 9/11 and this is the best you can come up with? In World War II we rounded up the Japanese and tossed them in camps. In World War I we detained more than 8 thousand German citizens. To be honest, I've been shocked at how little backlash there was in this country after 9/11.

Edit: Don't start generalizing. We don't put 'Muslims in camps'. We put terrorists, who happen to be Muslim, in detention camps. This is no different then when we had German POW's over here during World War II, as they are considered enemy combatants.

I've never thought Islamophobia was a joke. That said, I've been very proud of how little backlash there's been in this country against the mostly-peaceful religious community of Islam. People like these acid throwers are definitely the exception more than the rule.

Islamophobia happens because people read the Quran and were shocked by its contents.
