I would not think that they would be allowed near children at all. You could call your local law enforcement agency and ask them what the law reads on this.

Not if there are children in the pool or in the area as far as I know . There`s only ONE reason a pervert would be in a pool , and I`m sure you can guess that reason pretty quick .
If someone you know to be a convicted sexual offender is at the pool where there are children , or around children anywhere , your best bet is to say nothing , and call the cops !
They may not even be allowed in pools where there are no children present because of the distinct possibility a child could come there at any time .
If you`re talking about someone who`s been convicted of a sexual offence NOT involving a child , the above may or may NOT apply . In that case , check with your local police .

sadly they are allowed to do anything we can do. The only thing is that before they move into a neighborhood they have to get a certain amount of signatures from the neighbors allowing them to move there and at the same time making people aware that they are registered sex offenders.

No, an invisible force-shield comes down and blocks them from coming in the pool. And if they do laser guns come down and shoot and them. And security guards rush in a save you just incase he/ she comes near you!
ehhh...what do you think. They can't monitor where they go!

Unless it is part of the restrictions placed on them, yes they are. It depends on the nature of their offense.
