I just received a bill from my dentist who I have not seen in over 3 years. I guess she dug up her files and found a few "accounting errors" and began requesting for payments. At the time I paid what I thought was the total cost that I had to pay and the rest were covered through my insurance. Now I have this bill.

I really dont want to pay and think its bogus, but I dont want to ruin my credit. Is it against the law to charge someone 3 years later (School loans does not count I know its defered). Is there a time limit?

I'm mainly thinking doctors who give bad advice on breastfeeding and infant nutrition? From my own experience, and talking with other moms, alot of doctors are using really outdated information.
Is there any other way to hold them accountable for the bad advice that they give?

my boyfriend of 3 years just got back from boot camp on may 4th. we spent about 2 weeks basically living on top of eachother which was nice but at the same time a little too much. then he went away to report to his unit for the weekend and came back a different person. he didnt call at all when he was away and for a day after he came back he didnt call either. finally he called last tuesday said he was in boston (we live in southern nh, and hused to live in boston) and swore that he would call me the next day. he didnt call until friday and i asked him when i'd see him again and he got mad so i said that i was going to a party that night and busy. i left my phone on vibrate and didnt answer all night because i wanted him to know how it felt to not answer the phone and sure enough he called 6 times that night and 3 the next morning, when i called him back on saturday he was very suspcious and seemed pissed off.

You always here about polls in the news that say this percent of the country feels this way or that about a subject. I'm 35 years old and have never been polled on anything. It sort of makes me not trust the polls that I hear about. What do you think? Have you been polled by an orginization about any sort of national subject?

The police found no evidence. I am 100% sure he is looking (he also baby-sit's). I am thinking about going over there and "roughing" him up. I thought he was one of my good friends. But now I guess friendship cant last forever. Do you think he will go run to the police? How far should I take it? Im thinking all the way? What do you think?

On September 20, 2001 in the days following the 911 attacks, over 91% of you supported President Bush when he said at the State Of the Union Address "We shall show no distinction between the terrorists, and the countries who harbor them".

Unless you're going to try and convince me that you were part of the other 9%, then I would really like to hear from you on when you changed your mind about the president you once supported. Is Bush not doing what 60 million Americans elected him to do? Or did Americans simply change their minds on what they wanted???

about the troops in Iraq? I mean no one donates money for them or offers them any special benefits? They have student discounts all over the place but when we ask for military discounts they laugh. Just recently I went to the movies and asked if they had military discounts but they didn’t they only had student discounts. I'm pretty sure the college kids deserve it better than the poor veterans.
When I was fighting in Iraq I wanted Americans to show their gratitude but it felt like they didn’t care. I think the people need to give the soldiers of this war far more appreciation for what they have been through.

WASHINGTON - A newly disclosed effort to keep Vice President Dick Cheney's visitor records secret is the latest White House push to make sure the public doesn't learn who has been meeting with top officials in the Bush administration.

Over the past year, lawyers for President Bush and Cheney have directed the Secret Service to maintain the confidentiality of visitor entry and exit logs, declaring them to be presidential records, exempt from a law requiring their disclosure to whoever asks to see them.

The drive to keep the logs secret, the administration says, is essential to assuring that the president and vice president receive candid advice to carry out their duties.

I visited Gettysburg for memorial day weekend and it's crazy to compare war then and war now. Back then soldier fought soldier. If they couldn't compete in terms of numbers or firepower, they retreated; rather then going after civilians of the other side. In that battle, at Gettysburg only ONE civilian died, and it was from a stray bullet through a door. Even the Japanese in WWII attacked a military target rather than a civilian one. Does it bother anyone that now in todays modern war against terrorism, we're fighting cowards who hide behind and kill civilians rather than fight face to face with our soldiers?
