Let me clear it up for you. The point is this guy was in fact giving people a recipe for life -- meaning the cop was preaching how to live life without booze meanwhile he was doing the very thing he was telling others what they must not do which ='s recipe for life.Yes people can read minds turn on court TV and tell me are the psychic shows showing them helping the police are real or not real ? Again you just read into it what you want. It's all there in black and white. If a 100 stories about bad cops are put out there so what, post ones you agree with, don't expect me to be your parent, don't except me to spend hours trying to help you get something as simple as my answer adjusted into your head, to oh that's what it means. I ani't here for that. I am not here for you, I am here for me-do you understand that.

Don't you think this is a faulty concept? I would go so far as to say that it is unconstitutional to declare innocence for reason of insanity.

The job of the judicial system in the U.S. is to weigh the evidence to determine if an individual has or has not violated the laws set forth. Am I wrong?

Why then can a court declare someone innocent of a crime because of the reasoning behind it; even when the criminal has admitted violating the law and that the accusations against them are true?

Are we to say that conditions of insanity makes it ok to break the law?

And are we to say that because a person violated the law because he/she was mentally defective that they are less of a threat to society than the criminal who isn't insane?

Give me some supporting arguements for both sides of this.

the 1948 Zionist massacres started in Israel against Arab towns that created 700,000 Palestinian refugees? How crazy are the American wannabe Israelis and wannabe "Christians" who don't even recognize that even the left in Israel does not deny this? How can one deny that the left in Israel has been worse to the Palestinians than the Likud party? How can one deny that Shimon Peres of the left was less aggressive reagarding the construction of settlements in the West Bank than Ariel Sharon of the right? How can one COMPLETELY IGNORE Shlomo Ben Ami, the Israeli Foreign Minister, who said that it was an Israeli Zionist genocide of "redemption" that caused the Palestinian refugees in 1948?

TORONTO (CP) - The Canadian dollar will be worth as much as the U.S. greenback by the end of the year, CIBC World Markets economists predict (TSX: CM.TO).

Friday's report cites an expected rise in Canadian interest rates and stronger-than-expected economic growth, along with hot commodity prices and an "avalanche" of corporate takeovers that require foreign acquirers to deal in Canadian dollars.

"With the national jobless rate plumbing 30-year lows and core inflation now bobbing above the Bank of Canada's target range, our earlier assumption of the Bank of Canada intervening against a further rise in the Canadian dollar with rate cuts no longer seems tenable," says CIBC World Markets chief economist Jeff Rubin.

In fact, he says the central bank will likely welcome a further rise in the currency, which was trading Friday morning at a three-decade high of over 93.7 cents US.

In a democratic style of government, varying views from different parties serve to develop a constructive consensus. In current US politics, Republicans disregard any view but their own making a consensus impossible. By that logic, I can see where they serve no purpose.

Do the vast majority of the people in the US have any need or use for replublicans?

how is a person supposed to debate a radical liberal that basis their entire belief system off of conspiracy theories and have no facts to back up their accusations? How am I supposed to debate a liberal that says Bush's War in Iraq was for oil and the only reason gas prices are so high is because Bush paid Halliburton to steal all the oil and sell it on the black market? How does a person debate a liberal 9/11 cospiracy theorists that cites Rosie O'Donnell as evidence that fire cannot mealt steel? How does one debate a liberal that says the US is a fascist Nazi society that has murdered 800,000 Iraqis in the past year? Anyone have any luck having a rational debate with these people?

If you often travel outside of the US or relate with the world beyond our boundaries you will absolutely know that people think we are fools. You ask why?

First, we're so emotional that we feed, shelter and equip our enemies. We save others and neglect our own; we fool ourselves by trying to make the world believe that all is well with us and all we have to do is solve their problems.
Even when we catch terrorists, we play a good host giving them not only food & clothes but also utilities that they never enjoyed from the miserable lives they lived. In 'prison', we also give them the same books that instigated them against us in the first place. They must be having a good laugh!
I don't know if I'm the only one feeling sick and tired of this stupidity.

According to a recent speech she basically said free markets work best when they’re constrained by the right government policies. What do you think of the government policies she supports?

“I am not robbed by people who have more money than I. I am robbed by a government that wants to penalize my industry and give increasing portions of what I earn to people who do not emulate my principles, morals and ethics... We once taught our young people the virtues of hard work, saving, personal responsibility and accountability for one’s actions, chastity before and fidelity and commitment in marriage, honesty, integrity and virtue—not to mention the Ten Commandments (especially the one about not coveting that which belongs to your neighbor). We now teach them entitlement, victimhood, class envy and rights to other people’s money.” —Cal Thomas
