"After promising unprecedented openness regarding Congress' pork barrel practices, House Democrats are moving in the opposite direction as they draw up spending bills for the upcoming budget year.
Democrats are sidestepping rules approved their first day in power in January to clearly identify "earmarks"—lawmakers' requests for specific projects and contracts for their states—in documents that accompany spending bills.
Rather than including specific pet projects, grants and contracts in legislation as it is being written, Democrats are following an order by the House Appropriations Committee chairman to keep the bills free of such earmarks until it is too late for critics to effectively challenge them."

Quote) •Bush is not credited with any medals on this discharge, although he was authorized two: the National Defense Service Medal for 6 months of active duty and a pistol qualification badge. He lost the pistol qualification when he was stripped of all his qualifications but the NDSM should be here and its lack shows that not only was he stripped of all his qualifications but his medals also." (end quote)

Not since the invention of the military uniform has there been one so COWARDLY DISGRACE that he was STRIPPED of every ribbon and not received a DISHORABLE discharge. This LOSER didnt even get the nat defense metal--the one that you get for nothing except ---being there. NOT ONE honor. Not one except "SHAME"
Your President? A SHAM. A COWARD who hid--and then sent OUR nat guard that he hid in fear in, to kill and die ---for a LIE!

Well, does all or any of the information I provided assist in finding out if here in the same state (CO) in getting a divorce, do I still have to pay and file as if the whole thing was a traditional marriage? Or is there any way to do it all as simply as it was to get married in the first place?

I argue absolutely not.

Machinery can easily replace low-skill labour as we have seen many times in Japan with rice and tea harvesting. Japan has negligible immigration for low-skill employees- the world's no. 2 economy.

Machinery not only works out to be more efficient and cost-effective in the long-term- the obstacle is the initial capital investment which many employers choose not to make as cheap, disposable labour is more easily attainable at hand.

If employers were to invest in machinery- it would create long-term, sustainable employment and build the manufacturing sector- not to mention the financial sector.

Your thoughts?

Oh wait, he's a Repub so he'll get the "other" side of fair and balanced. Kissy kissy.

Is it not funny how Repubs bash Hollywood, then they run for office and then nothing but tongue. See Reagan and now Thompson.

Let say a medical clinic catches on fire. There are 2 rooms. You can open a door to only one room.

Here's your choice.
A)In this room there is a box that contain 500 frozen human embryos.
B)In this room there is ONE living breathing 4 year old child.

Do you open room A) OR B)?

You can only open one room. Not both.

Which one would you save? 100 human embryos or one 4 year old child?

My friend is in the army in Iraq and I need to talk/tell him something. I have an address he left me before he departed but that was almost a year ago. Should I use that address and hope for the best? Or is there anyway to find out what the current address I can send to is? (And yes I have tried contacting his family and friends. Neither have an address-odd yes).

I thought they were particularly unfair with Mr. Squeeky (Dennis Kucinich), meaning not giving him an equal chance to speak like Hillary, Obama and Biden for example.
