Too little, too late. It's a ploy to score political brownie points.

Historically, imposing sanctions has never worked well when it came to punishing rogue regimes. Only the general population suffers; the leaders still maintain power and continue with their iron-fisted rule.

Yes. BTW, it is not only Bush who wants the sanctions but most of Europe as well. We have to do something to stop the conflict in Darfur.

It's all that we are able to do right now. The UN needs to step up and send a peacekeeping force, the lack of resources smells of racial overtones.
