It could be 28 minutes from now or 280 years from now. When the superpowers square off against each other in two camps, then come back and we'll talk apacolpse.
Until then, just think regional conflicts, wars between rump states, proxy wars and brinksmanship. If you recall the Yom Kippur War in 1973, a coalition of Arab States (Egypt, Syria and Jordan) were soundly defeated by the Israelis. That was a worse situation than the current conflict and it didn't raise a blip on the world war radar (not that it didn't have the potential to spark a global war).
The next World War will involve a nuclear exchange, how could it not. In the first 30 minutes, nearly a billion people will have been vaporised, mostly in the US, Russia, Europe, China and Japan. Another 1.5 billion will die shortly thereafter from radiation poisoning. The northern hemisphere will be plunged into prolonged agony and barbarity.
Eventually the nuclear winter will spread to the southern hemisphere and all plant life will die. You ask when is the apacolypse, you are asking when will we commit global suicide. My answer is it won't happen soon because the larger superpowers are more rational than the rump states in the middle east.
Our biggest risk is an accidental launch of nukes by one of the nuclear powers.

Christianity a "doomsday cult"? Interesting....It's only "Doomsday" if you are not prepared...
Anyway, according to Scripture, we will not know the time of the Judgement. There will be "wars and rumours of wars" and "stars will fall from the heavens" and there will be a loud clap like thunder...and the Lord will return, signalling the beginning of the tribulation period...truly "Doomsday" if you are not saved...then there will be a period of 1000 years of peace, followed by the final judgement and the creation of a new heaven and earth.
These things are not secrets...they are plainly revealed in the Bible. The only thing we do not know for sure is when...
Be prepared! "The day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night". If that is doomsday for you, you still have an opportunity, right now, to change. This is not a popular view--it is seen as intolerant, bigoted, even racist by some. But the truth is seldom pleasant to everyone.

That's not really doomsday. We would be dead before we realize it.
A real doomsday is when we continue to be terrified every moment of our waking lives, when we go on suffering without an end in sight, when we yearn for a moment of happiness among years in sadness, when our loved ones are departing from us day after day, when incurable diseases and physical disorders strike us with horrible pain that nothing can numb, when we go on living without money, without food or a house...
Look around you. If you live in a rich neighborhood, look at a poor neighborhood. If you live in a rich country, look towards a poor country. If you are happy today, think about your famine stricken ancestors. If you are healthy, look at terminally ill patients, slowly waiting for their death. If you have freedom of speech, look at those who cannot practice their religion because they are ruled by strangers..
Ordinary living is doomsday for many. And the Doomsday you mention will be an escape, a day of true happiness for millions today and tomorrow, just as it has been for millions throughout the centuries past.

Not as soon as you'd think. That's judging from the prevelence of Doomsday cults (like Christianity) throughout human history, and doomsday warning from scientists as long as there's been science - and the fact they've all been /wrong/.
