The folks who killed the Lake Ponchatrain flood gates in favor of some fresh water mussles are the ones who should be ashamed. If those gates had been built back in the 1960's (budgeted and approved by a Democrat controlled Congress, signed by LBJ, then killed by environmentalists) New Orleans wouldn't have flooded.
You want to drop all the blame on Bush? Drop at least some of it on the folks who didn't do anything to prevent the flooding from ever happening. Oh but they are envionmentalists and liberal Democrats so there's no way they can be at fault?
