Alot of people in this country do not like intelligent people. They like regular people, people they feel they can relate too. Personally I would rather have someone intelligent running the country rather than the guy who thinks like my drinking buddy but hey some people just don't have the intelligence God gave a horse fly and sadly they can vote.

I personally love to see Gore running for President. Last time he would have won but for.....he also made one mistake of alienating Clinton.
If he comes back, which I think he will, he will win too. He is just trying to time it right and conserve his energy and resources.
None of the current candidates from Democratic party are strong enough to win.
On Republican side, I would vote for Romney. He is the business person our country needs. We should run the country like business.

Gore flunked out of two graduate schools. I don't think being overly intelligent is one of his shortcomings.
Obama is too liberal and not experienced enough to be President. A real campaign will shine a very bright light on his actual record and he will fall short.

When you present only one side of an argument without allowing others to present their side of the arguement in an effort to make a political point, I wouldn't call that intelligent. I would call that propoganda.
As far as Obama is concerned, I will NEVER vote for a man that wants to introduce socialism to our free society and who votes to deny medical attention to babies who survive abortion attempts.

Both are intelligent. Intelligence should not be a disqualification, but a lot of the Plain Folks of this country resent and distrust intelligent people.

Gore's intelligence is in a 'locked box' and Obama's lack of experience will not get him elected/
Joe Lieberman or Fred Thompson should be in the White House in Jan. 08
