Its a given that Republicans will bash any Democratic candidate, and vice versa. But I would truly be interested in the policies or ideas that he has put forward that offend you so much. And please, don't just lump him in with the whole democratic socialist crap...I'd like to know what it is about HIM and what he has proposed (not his party) thus far that is so offensive to people.

Hardline Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is now softening his tone on Iraq. Do you think this is coming from the US's proof that Iran is arming the insurgents?

The recent statement put out by some committee had almost no actual scientists on it. Global Warming is just a political issue spiraled out of control... did you know that the temperatures of the oceans have significantly decreased between 2003 and 2006, and also, nothing has even been proven as to that humans are the cause of "global warming". The greenhouse gases may actually be having the opposite effect, becausae the suns rays are also reflected back towards the sun, away from the earth! And in all actuality, today, the earth is only 1 degree celcius warmer than it was a century ago which is not something to be fretting about. Warming and cooling is part of the natural cycle of the earth... how did we get out of the last ice age? It got really warm and all the ice melted... and that was back when humans weren't around! We were forced to watch an Inconcenient Truth at school last week, and my dad actually complained to the school... and I agree, we should not be brainwashed

Chances are, you won't notice. But, I always find these "articles" showing the Muslims acting just like me. I have never seen one asking the Friends, if they consider us "Infidels"?

What is an Infidel to them?
And what are they to do withy infidels?

I must be paranoid.

If God is suppose to be a good God then why would God support the Bush/Chaney for illegal invasion of Iraq which all started from lies and deceit to American people and on top of that Bush is still sending in more troops to get killed? Isn't the situation in Iraq right now an indication that God is not on the Bush's side?

With so many soldiers dying just because they aren't properly equipped why isn't the government held to the same standards as everyone else. I get a $5000 fine if a guy takes off his hard hat yet some of these guys can't even get flack jackets.

Just watched Street Wars on Sky Three. I thought having tattoos excluded you from joining the police force and yet one of the featured officers had a star tattoo on his left hand and a considerably larger one on his left forearm. Is this legit or are Sky doing a "realistic reconstruction" con on this programme.

Pro lifer’s have made the case that because it’s legal, it’s not wrong to do so. That's great. I think I'll go cheat on my girlfriend now. It's legal, correct? So that makes it right? you're confusing legality with morality. There are lots of things that are legal that aren't really moral. It's perfectly legal for corporate america to ship your job overseas to save money on labor, but does that make it right? It was perfectly legal for the oil industry to continue to raise oil prices while also reaping record profits, but I bet you were one of those that screamed bloody murder and claimed a lack of ethics and moral sensibility was being practiced (all the while you went and filled up at the nearest gas station). It is immoral of business owners to legally oppose the rasing of minimum wage. And yet, it's moral for you to go ahead and kill human life because the Courts said it was legal. That's an interesting contradiction. It's even more interesting that science says biological life begins during prophase, the initial stage of mitosis. But the kicker is how the pro choicers scream that the pro lifers base their definition of life on their faith. Yet, many pro lifers cite the scientific argument of mitosis, just as I have. Pro choicers say that life begins at birth. Based on what? Faith? It certainly isn't science. Look, I'm not here to argue if you do or don't have the legal right to have an abortion. The Courts have ruled that you do. What I'm saying is that you don't have the moral right to do so, just as I don't have the moral authority to cheat on my girlfriend. To believe otherwise is only placating your own state of moral unconsciousness.

I am 16 years old and live in cincinnati ohio. I was driving on the highway and recieved a speeding ticket for 81 mph in a 65 mph zone (16 mph over). The officer used a laser and told me that since i am a minor i have to appear in court for this ticket. I was wondering if there are any ways i can fight this ticket and get out of paying the 104 dollars that i owe. I got pulled over by a trooper, not a sheriff. It is my first offense and i did sign the ticket which i think states that i agree to the speeding violation. But i am aware that my chances are slim but i was just wondering if anyone out there can help me fight this ticket and get out of paying the 104 dollars. Please and Thank you very much.

And, how the Bush administration is using the same lies of the 1960's administrations to escalate the Vietnam war. I think being concerned about Iran is justified, but how do we not know this is another bunch of lies by the Bush administration to invade Iran?

Two other things come to mind: The first is that I'm presuming that everyone now knows that Valerie Plame was investigating Iran and possible nukes in that country before she was outed by the Cheney regime. And, That the entire region of the mid-east is involved in Iraq. Iran is selling arms to Iraq through the black market and that it isn't necessarily through it's government.
And, second, that Saudi's are selling arms to the Sunni's in Iraq as well. Saudi ARabia and Iran hate eachother.
Now, in light of this, do you really think this entire region's problem can really be solved militarily? It seems the war has made matters100 times worse in destabilizing.
